If they really wanted to “include more fans than ever before” they’d bring back their Bringing E3 Home thing from 2007. E3 demos and videos right in their market place.

ReCore was a pretty enjoyable experience. Though I did fall out of playing it (the aforementioned issues of spreading too thin between games).

In terms of controlling Wander and Argo, try and think of it as the characters having weight to their movements. Like real life, actions aren’t instantaneous. Though I do agree, wrestling is a apt way of putting it. Glad you’re enjoying the game regardless though.

Because those old archaic mechanics are still enjoyable to plenty of people. Also combine the fact that Horizon isn’t that much of an RPG. It’s a stellar game in all aspects but it’s not much of a RPG to me.

This thread needs some more negativity. Yesterday I downloaded the Sea of Thieves open beta with no problems (unfortunately I missed the beta period. Oops.) Today, trying to do almost anything on the console including play games or watch Netflix results in error code 0x800401fb which apparently is an error code that doesn’t fucking exist. Google turns up a few results of posts similar to mine from last year. It literally just fixed itself about 10 seconds after typing this post....what in the fuck. In other good good news I saw yesterday that Turok 2 is on the console complete with 16 player multiplayer soooo that’s kind of awesome.

Missed the open beta it ended early Sunday morning (5am here) I was still at work. Ah well, price drop game maybe.

If you’ve got any passing interest in Hiphop check out RTJ. There are 3 self titled albums and they’re all pretty damn good. I’m fond of Stay Gold, Love Again (this one is uhhh dirty use some headphones), Call Tickertron, DDFH. Legend Has It was featured in the Black Panther teaser trailer. Also of small note at least 1 song made it into Watch Dogs 2. And now back to sitting at work on standby listening to them.

If it makes you feel better Michigan gets heavy snow yearly and we’re still shit at dealing with it after 180 years of being a state. Wednesday I used my debit card...today I noticed I no longer had it. Fuck. I think the kid at Jimmy Johns didn’t hand it back. No new pending charges though and I’ve put a hold on it. Ratchet and Clank is platforming excellence Flink. It’s a fun rather lighthearted story, varied locales, tons of different weapons (even if you only use a couple) and this remake is damn beautiful. Especially with HDR.

There has to be an EoL at some point. And they are giving a years notice. And as you point out it’s a good month for the games chosen, hasn’t been one in a while at some point I doubt that’s fully by design versus what they can get permission to give away. I’m not sure what you’d expect them to replace PS3 and Vita games with though. More PS4 games per month? Sure it adds “value” or it just adds more backlog and more people bitching its games they own or aren’t interested in.

I’m confused why you’d skip Bloodborne because of not having PS+ unless you really like the PvP aspect of the game I suppose?

Unless something has changed I don’t believe Disney has embraced 4K for its movies (outside of possibly Marvel?) There are a few digital services but I think they mostly require streaming and 4K is pretty bandwidth intensive. Sony has a specific service but I think it’s exclusive to their TVs. I think UltraViolent might do 4K as well but I’m not sure.

I’m playing off tv, so Joycons. And the Dpad on that is beyond less than ideal for this game.

I envy everyone that bought this on a platform that isn’t the fucking Switch. It’s just such a pain in the ass when I’m clearly holding a direction and that damn tiny joystick doesn’t register quite right annnnd I’m dead. Again. And again. And again. And again.

Necro bumping this thread because eh why not! Just tried to watch Sin City A Dame to Kill For. Nope, can’t do it. It’s just wrong. I can understand some of the casting differences due to deaths, scheduling, life what have you. But I can’t understand the generally poor casting choices/directing. And the makeup department should be smacked. They made Marv look absolutely ridiculous I wasn’t even sure it was still Mickey Rourke? So...anyone else decide a movie was far too awful to waste their time on lately? also slightly skimmed the thread, @Cube you should be ashamed for being bored by No Country for Old Men. It’s all so fantastic. But I suppose I can concede that it’s a methodical slow pace and really not a ton happens at times. But even so...shame.
