  1. Hogwarts Legacy

    no one?
  2. The Wrasslin' thread

Is that the league where the dude was fighting with his penis?
  3. Playing Lylat Wars with the N64 controller is such a nostalgic blast. Even though it may not "handle" better than it might with a Switch controller, it just *feels* right. Although when going to try a bit of Banjo I was all over the place, couldn't walk in a straight line to save my life.
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I don't think I said anything that disputed the conditions they developers were under, the deadline that they were subjected to, nor that it was a reasonable situation and should be repeated.
  5. Funny Stuff Thread

I'm not sure how I first came across this whole thing, but it was only a couple of weeks, and I've watched many of Kitboga and Scammer Payback videos, and a few Deeveear ones where he goes nuclear. I'm bringing this one because of the perfect Joe Biden impression.
  6. E3 (1995-2022) Memories

I thought it was just this year's that had fallen through, not the death of the whole thing. But I guess it seemed inevitable as soon as Nintendo Direct's started popping up. I came in to post this also, but this one instead, I've watched this so many times over the years...
  7. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

That is one tasty looking dock. But mine faces sideways, so no one would be able to see it.
  8. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

"Magnesis was good, let's do it on everything" Bet you can't do it on enemies and just raise them into the air before dropping them to their deaths. 6 years wasted.
  9. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I always thought Banjo Kazooie Nuts n Bolts didn't get the love it deserved. Now it will get so much appreciation because Nintendo did it. Can I get an amen? They best start having a fuckton more caves that you can warp through the roof of. I'd rather they didn't have this and just toned down the rain. The climbing was part of the adventure. Removing an entire aspect seems unusual, I'd rather they made you be able to run like The Flash over the boring fields so we can skip the boring horse gathering/stable mechanics, I know they did that recallable anywhere horse in a DLC, but I wasn't paying it just for that. Maybe they'll give you an upgrade which you can rewind on yourself, removing all aspect of conequence? Or maybe the piece that he flew up on can be rewound again to go back to the same place, even if enough time has passed from the "rewind meter" that may have been there in that video. I'd want to see the Metroid-esque ability suck that has you full powered and then you lose everything first, to explain where my damn paraglider went, and all my hearts, oh no, the Master Sword is sleepy again, best pop it back in its pedestal for a nap whilst I fap about with branches. I am happy about the merge mechanic, because bollocks to the previous weapon setup. But it was done. I think that's the main point people are making. Graphically I'm not surprised there appears to be little advancement. I didn't expect it at all. What I want to hear about are dungeons, because fuck shrines again. In the last Calamity thingy before the previous one instead of rotating animals they made 8 nice themed dungeons, but they flew into the sky for some reason. I'll take that. And what are the major changes in the landscape, because I'm not travelling across the same Hyrule for a third time (I put extra effort into the second playthrough and all it did waste my time for little payoff). It looks like exploration will be easier now, as instead of the traditional climb to high point and glide, you can either warp through the roof of a cave, or jump from a platform in the sky and just glide to whatever the equivalent of Sheikah towers are for that sweet quick warp action. If Link is going to have this shaggy hair a lá Ganondorf from Hyrule Warriors, I wanna see some beard action too.
  10. What Have You Bought?

I thought that was one of those ReMarkable things which I've seen pop up all over the net recently, which I was initially interested in, but then it turned out you needed a subscription thing to keep the connectivity stuff going.
  11. 3DS and Wii U eShop purchases to end March 2023

I had about £1.80 left so got Steamworld Dig for about £1.30, I think that's me done :|
  12. Rise and Fall

Hot on the heels of The Traitors, this shizzle has been on Channel 4, I would've made this earlier but had to wait for the wife to come back to start watching it. Only 3 episodes in and the format isn't what I thought it would be, especially based on the synopsis they have when asking for applications (which was more Traitor-esque), and the title. You'd think the Rulers could fall down to the lower levels like Next Level Chef, but no, they just get eliminated. Maybe it gets a bit more complex later on, but I feel a step is missing somewhere. It reminds me of that prison guard experiment they did at that school, making people elite makes them arseholes.
  13. The Last of Us (TV)

I'm on episode 4 and ... meh. I'm not in a rush to watch the rest. I was expecting more infected killing action, not a series about running between waist high walls avoiding everything. It's been a long time since I played the game, but there's a difference between the doing it and being involved as opposed to just being passive with no control.
  14. I got the notification email, ordered 3. Probably 1 more than I really should have... so I'll probably be a dirty scalper
  15. My Nintendo ( Club Nintendo Successor )

I need to find out how many points I have... I barely used any and I couldn't be bothered to buy avatar thingies. Feeling them posters
  16. Netflix

I felt a little disappointed when it disappeared up its own arse when it decided to become But I think it pulled it back. I'm a little disappointed with how they handled... I tried watching In From The Cold, but I just couldn't get into it. It starts off as an ex-Russian spy trying to have a new life, then gets pulled back in. Seems standard, then it's revealed and I couldn't take it seriously after that. Finished re-watching iZombie. Still recommend it to you all! Rose McIver is such a versatile actress.
  17. Sentimental sod. Throw that pointy-eared-quack in the brig.
  18. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

    It'll break after 10 uses.
  19. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Shopto have more collectors editions if anyone is after one
  20. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

I have Pharaoh a New Era on my left monitor right now.
  21. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

They only had that many so they could their quote of "race/belief/gender identity/favourite whale/tits or ass man/scrunch or fold" disclaimer at the beginning. I think of gaming prices a little like music... a single is roundabout the same price as it has been, coupla quid, albums going up to about a tenner, maybe £15, but the number of people involved has obviously gone up, as is the quality of the technology etc. What makes these able to do so is how unexclusive they are, a song to download will last a lifetime, but a concert ticket to see that artist will cost more because it's most exclusive
  22. The Disney Thread

Was she any good on that stage version they has on Disney+?
  23. The Traitors

I haven't used any annual leave yet, I could stretch it out and have a teeny bit of unpaid leave. Got some time to save if I needed to tide myself over 😅
