  1. Thought it was pretty disappointing the only person who I thought came out of it good was Greer who is an utter genius. "I have some books for you to read Nick. You should be scared of letting other races into your organization! Nick do you agree with me? Yes! Good!" In my view the guy who called Nick a Dick should have been stopped asking questions. Also all 3 politicians were going for applause rather than addressing issues. Straw was the best of the 3 I reckon but I would say that I vote Labour! It was a lynch mob rather than a serious discussion like I said Greer was the only one who imo acted like an adult including the audience.
  2. Final Report coming this weekend btw. Realise noone will care by now but I just want to do it to complete the set in some sick OCD manner!
  3. Kudos for the cup Dyson looking sweet. Is it over two legs? So heres a question. Are we going to try any recruitment at all? As we have so many high powered hitters mods, admins, writers and Rez. Could we not just make a thread in Gen Chit Chat? I realise this is against the rules but I really see it as the only way we are going to get the people we need. I mean for example my cup match is against Evil. I assume I will be getting through without a match as he last logged in in August. August! Mike Strikes and Tellstorm also look like deadman teams. So that means we only need 3 if we got extras then bigger leagues are hardly a bad thing but I think 3 is probably what wed get anyway.
  4. 17 3 for me fuck that, this is not what I expect from my elite youth programme.
  5. I got two in fact. Wonderful times with all you guys getting 4 star people I reckon its time for another.
  6. Yep he has a VIP xpert package now for 3 months. Kind of made me laugh how you picked wrong twice but nailed your pals choice spot on! Make him buy you a pint to make up for it lol. No youth player for me. Either want a 16 year old 3 to sell for millions or 19 year old 6 to nurture into a beast. Ive been pretty lucky with youth as Ive had both the above so reckon Im due a loser.
  7. Winners are Drum Roll! 1 Odwinica 3 Dysonism 4 Edd Kirby Athletic You are all or will soon be Very Important People welcome to the family.
  8. Is Tales going to get a new team? Did you guys see his change report bad times! Any new people joining?
  9. Np glad you enjoy them Wait Kirby isnt Edd from the boards? Lol! Sent him a PM as well. OK I will mark him down as 4 bet Edd wonders what ive been smoking today.
  10. Xpert 11 Awards! While the last report isn't out yet the awards from the last game are in it so this is a complete list. The Elites burst on to the top league with a string of scalps including a famous victory over Rovers, before struggling to keep up their momentum. They seemed in danger of being relegated before a last day victory against Blades deservedly kept them up. A worthy winner and a team that will hopefully make steps forward next season. Stylish Play Award Dysonism F.C 6 Roostope Rovers 4 Secret United 3 Emo Blades 2 Haden United 1 Style: Dyson, Haden, Rovers, Dyson, Dyson, Secret, Secret, Blades, Rovers, Blades, Rovers, 64s, Blades, Rovers, Secret, Dyson, Dyson, Dyson, Dysonism F.C won this award with 6 games where they were deemed to be the most stylish team in the league. While they were never title contenders this season their star studded line up is well feared. With 35 goals scored the most in the league it is clear that they have the sheer firepower to destroy certain teams with their attacking style of football. The teams that suffered this fate have been to name just 3, Essex Elites (4-0), Cubic County (3-0), and even the Sixty Fourthers (5-2). With no big name retirements they will be wanting this award next season. Pizzulli while have a poor latter season was instrumental in the win against Roostophe Rovers scoring twice and setting a goal up. Telfer as goalie has helped the Elites keep clean sheets against tough teams such as Secret United. Brammer has been a rock in defense and has stepped up to score goals when he has been needed. Finally Hooke has been a creative force for the Elites setting up a goal for them in the final match of the season. These players and many more have been the driving force behind the Elites survival. And they delivered in style, edging out Silverdale FC and Noodle FC for the last promotion place they have shown themselves time and time again to be able to score vital wins against Silverdale, Noodle and most importantly of all to be the only team to have beaten Tin Can Club. Great winners and a deservedly promoted side. Their finest period has to have been their two in a row extravagant victories against Noodle FC (3-0) and MadDog United (3-1). This wonderful football had their fans dreaming of promotion. It wasn't to be in the end but they did themselves proud and will be fearsome opponents next season. Youth striker McKenna is featured twice on the list and has been an asset to Athletic at only 19 years old gaining 4 goals. Bain is also featured twice and frankly this 21 year old keeper is possibly the most valuable and talented player in the league, his shot stopping abilities have helped Athletic immensely. Edd Kirby Jr is another young talent and one who has a bright future ahead of him, he has impacted in games at crucial points. Finally Hill is the glue that holds Athletics midfield together, with 5 assists and 3 goals he has contributed well to his teams survival. Important Wins Award Battlestar Odwinica 5 Duds Baggies 4 Complete Domstercool 2 Mcoys Sons 2 Important: (Draw), Dom, Dud, Sons, Dud, (Draw), Sons, Oddy, Oddy, Oddy, Dud, (Draw), Dud, (Draw), (Draw), Dom, Oddy, Oddy, Battlestar Odwinica team of the manager who won the Premier League multiple times won their the lower league title in their first season. A string of good results was topped off by a nail biting final day battle between Odwinica and Mcoys Sons. Sons hadn't lost a game up until that point but Odwinica defeated them and clinched the title. A incredible debut season and surely a dark horse for promotion next season. Stylish Play Award Jaffa Munchers 4 Battlestar Odwinica 4 Mcoys Sons 2 Complete Domstercool 2 Recall United 2 Duds Baggies 2 Tellstorm 1 The Adorable Vikings 1 Style: Munch, Sons, Dom, Recall, Tell, Munch, Sons, Munch, Dom, Recall, Dud, Oddy, Oddy, Vikings, Oddy, Dud, Oddy, Munch, A tie here between Jaffa Munchers and Battlestar Odwinica. It is interesting to note that most of Munchers awards are early while Odwinica blossomed later in the season. Munchers had a great first half of the season with stylish victories against Tellstorm (4-0) and Recall United (2-0), they just couldn't seem to crack the bigger teams in the league. Odwinica however had a better late season with huge victories over lesser sides such as Mike Strikes FC (4-0) The Adorable Vikings (6-0) as well as more impressive sides such as Complete Domstercool (4-1) and Mcoys Sons (3-0). An indication therefore of the ebb and flow of the league, but a deserved shared trophy. Individual Player Award Complete Domstercool 5 Mcoys Sons 5 Duds Baggies 3 Battlestar Odwinica 2 Recall United 1 The Adorable Vikings 1 Jaffa Munchers 1 Player: Shelton Dud, Muscat Dom, Shelton Dud, Halliday Sons, Standen Dud, Mansell Dom, Harris Sons, Siddall Dom, Siddall Dom, Tate Oddy, Clegg Recall, Woozley Sons, Miles Dom, Curtis Sons, Norbye Vikings, Woozley Sons, Collin Oddy, Albalah Munch, Another shared trophy for the final prize! With 5 players each in this category the report will briefly look at what makes the Sons and Domstercools players so worthy of this prize. Siddall won the prize twice for Domstercool and is clearly a rising talent, 23 and with multiple skills he is a shining part of Domstercools fearsome midfield. His double against Recall United along with the influence his play had during the match highlighted his importance. Woozley also won the prize twice for Mcoys Sons and his defensive talent has been one of the reasons why the Sons only lost once in the entire season. To compliment this he is also a talented playmaker setting up an impressive 6 goals during the season. Both these skills will be needed in the battle for supremacy in the middle league. And now the ultra fun part special surprise award time! The report has 3 special prizes to give away one for each category. The winners of each category will pick a number according to how many of you there are either 1-3 or 1-4. I have already picked the winning numbers out when everyone has picked I will reveal the winners. Good luck! Ok hope you enjoy the award ceremony and pick your numbers prize people! Btw I have sent the winning numbers to JaySeven just so noone thinks I am picking those who I love! lol
  11. Go to your club page then under the Players bit look at Players In it will say there under the list of Players in.
  12. I played mine against Emo and lost at home bad bad times lol.
  13. Plus 10 but wanted it to be a bit more if Im honest. Keepers did great happy they both went up. I wonder if my youth goalie may now decide not to utterly let me down when he plays next season lol. Young defenders all went up old ones didnt which sucked. No idea how my old midfield didnt go up they all had 15 average form, again the young did. Same story with forwards ah well I think my youth plan is looking strong now.
  14. Sorry about no showing with my surprise today guys will be up and running tom will post it as soon as Im back from school. Last reports will come later in the week. Do make sure you tune in as its going to be good fun and could be quite beneficial for you!
  15. Do you mean we make our own cup and do our own draw and play it out via friendlys? Surely that solves all the problems! Or did I not read that right. Congrats Villan, Tin Can Club, and Oddy. Sorry Emo! Still you will kick ass next season. Final Report plus classic surprise this weekend.
  16. Fear Roostophe Rovers 2-0 Essex Elites Rovers eased towards the title and increased panic stricken Elites fears of relegation as they beat them with ease. Both teams played a conventional 4-4-2 but the Elites of the first half of the season were gone and lacked much of a punch. Rovers were in excellent form in all areas of the pitch. Mazzoleni jinked in a beauty of a cross for Grover to head in after 5 minutes putting Rovers ahead. Hapgood the new Rovers defender who has frankly never performed beyond his abilities silenced some critics as he set up the 2nd goal for Grabinski to nudge in. Rovers are now a win away from winning their first ever Primer League Title. It must be said they have been a force to be reckoned with in nearly all of their games and you wouldn't bet against them winning from here. As for the Elites they now have one match to stay up as they battle the Blades in a do or die match, as they continue to plummet from league leaders to relegation battlers. Dysonism F.C 3-2 Haden United These two clubs have probably had the most thrilling pair of games of any of the teams this season in any league. Dysonism pulled off a heroic win against a resolute United, to keep themselves in the Premier League for another season and ended United's title hopes. Both teams played 4-4-2 but it was United the away team who struck first as Headon broke away from the Dysonism defense to hit in a great opener. Veteran Stenholm hit back for Dysonism scoring the 22nd goal of his long career to make it 1-1, however Headon who the manager recently criticized for a lack of goals hit in a screamer to give United the lead again. It was for another striker to steal the day though, as Twigg firstly equalized with a diving header then hit a last gasp volley to give Dysonism a dramatic win. The goal could well have saved them from relegation and sent the home crowd into rapture. A great game and we will look forward to more from these two sides next season, who will carry on their battle after finishing 6-6 overall after their two incredible games. Cubic County 1-2 The Sixty Fourthers In a tight match newly named Cubic County lost out to a well disciplined 64s squad. Young talent Osman scored his 4th of the season as he headed the 64s into the lead after 7 minutes. However County rather than falling apart held steadfast and Gould enjoying some space curled the ball into the top right hand corner of the net to level the scores. As the 2nd half resumed the game tightened up and the 64s began chasing the game earning themselves 3 yellow cards while they were at it. It seemed destined to be a draw until Collins slid towards an incoming free kick (taken by the 64s goalie) and hit it into the net to stop Roostophe Rovers from winning the Premier league. The 64s have to pray County are equally tough against the Rovers if they still aspire to be champions. County did themselves proud especially young talent like McGargle, will be a team to be feared next season. Emo Blades 1-3 Secret United United scored a famous victory to ensure at least one promoted side will stay up as they beat Blades, who now find themselves in dire trouble. Uniteds midfield played with superb calmness and flair creating 6 chances to the Blades 4. Rafaelinho hit a scorcher to put United in the lead as the famous Blades defense seemed to be shaken. United pounced with Brusling and Noel setting up two goals for the impressive Heinze. Both were short range shots but were taken with great precision, near the end of the match Derbyshire of United was sent off for a reckless tackle and the Blades took advantage of this as Shannonbridge scored a consolation goal. However it was to little to late, United have deservedly stayed up. And now the two teams who have been in free fall mode Blades and the Elites will face off to see who will go down. Analysis Most Important Result: Emo Blades 1-3 Secret United, United become the first promoted club to secure promotion, if the Elites just draw against the Blades the will be the 2nd. Turned on the Style Award: Dysonism F.C, came out with some real flair and attacking spirit to beat a highly determined United side in the conclusion to a great pair of matches. Player of the Day: Osman Qorbani, The Sixty Fourthers, did well in goal and set up the winning goal to keep the 64s in the title race. Noodle FC 1-2 Happenstance FC Noodle FC playing a youth filled squad fell out of the promotion zone as they lost to title chasing Happenstance. Both teams played 4-4-2 and neither could make a break through in what turned out to be a brutal 73 minutes before the first goal. 6 yellow cards were handed out and Spajic was hurt and substituted for Burbage in the Happenstance midfield. Legend Burbage made an impact as on 73 minutes he headed in a goal that went in off the bar. Another veteran Edwards made it 2-0 after 2 mins of extra time, Noodle FC hit back a minute later as Barros struck one in. However obviously by then it was to late and Noodles earlier lack of bite had cost them. The victory for Happenstance means the title race will go down to the wire and Noodle will now have to hope Happenstance does them a favor against promotion rivals MadDog who they have fallen behind thanks to this result. Made of Win 0-1 Edd Kirby Athletic Athletic virtually sealed their league status with a victory against Made of Win. Playing 4-3-3 Athletic balanced their inspirational defensive performance with an attacking force that while not incredible, was one that got the job done. With Luis having the game of a lifetime stopping all Made of Win attacks Athletic counter attacked with 6 chances. One of these caused a mistake which gave Athletic a penalty. The Captain Hill stepped up for the most important kick of his life, he faked hitting it left and blasted it into the center as the Made of Win goalie fell over trying to re-balance. Athletic never looked like loosing their lead and while the rest of the match was a brutal one with 4 injuries. Athletic fans can barring a miracle look forward to playing championship football next season, while Made of Win are now surely relegated. MadDog United 2-0 Soap Box Utd MadDog United ascended to promotion zone status as they scored a win over Soap Box Utd. However it wasn't plain sailing, while MadDogs defense was impressive their midfield and attack was less so. As the team only produced 3 chances in the entire match. The home crowd had to wait until the 80th minute for a goal as Murray headed in his 14th goal for United. However as some old saying about waiting for buses goes, another goal came along a minute later. Naranjo broke away from a sluggish Soap Box defense and burst into the box to slot home the 2nd goal and finish off the match. MadDog now have their fate in their hands but face a tricky away game to Happenstance that they have to win to seal promotion, they deserve it if they pull it off. Party at Richters 0-6 Silverdale FC Silverdale FC do not forget are still the darkest of horses to qualify for promotion. They did themselves a big favor against Party at Richters who they thumped 6-0 improving their goal difference massively. Sidwell scored a hat-trick bringing his total this season to 9, with Riley and Charbonnel scoring the other goals. Silverdale looked impressive but they will need everything to go in their favour to be promoted. MadDog United will have to draw or lose and they will have to beat Tin Can Club away by a greater goal difference than Noodle FC can beat Made of Win at home. Still weird things happen, whatever the case Silverdale have done themselves proud this season. Analysis Most Important Result: Noodle FC 1-2 Happenstance FC, Happenstance keep their title hopes alive while dumping Noodle out of the promotion zone. Turned on the Style Award: Silverdale FC, great play a privilege to watch this team on the attack. Player of the Day: Shaun Burbage, Happenstanec FC, change the complexion of the game as soon as he stepped onto the pitch. Ok quick message. Tomorrow the league is over! The last report will hopefully roll in this weekend. I have a special surprise for everyone to accompany my last report. If you could keep your eyes on this thread on Sunday (especially if you have been doing well in my reports!) then a few people will be able to participate in the ultimate game! The end of season report award bonanza with secret prizes!
  17. Is it really that bad? 1 a week isn't that lame and imo is less lame than ageing players for 1 cup.
  18. I guess if it was to be done 2 cups would deffo be the way to go. Tough call I would quite like the cup to come back it spices things up but I understand why people dislike it.
  19. This is true although its awkward how it will be worked out. The thing with friendlys is who cares? No exp, plus who plays a proper team or god forbid puts down win bonuses. A madman that's who! A combo of a cup that doesn't take to long with the league, with the league reverting back to normal twice a week fixtures once the cup is done would be pretty awesome.
  20. If it doesn't age our players I'm in would be a laugh, if it does I really am against one Id hate my players to lose a whole seasons worth of play on a cup.
  21. Bad decision Repetition Should you listen Or let it go Fridays catch up DuDs Baggies 3-0 Jaffa Munchers The Baggies kept their title hopes alive and all but secured promotion with a stirling win over the Munchers. The Baggies played 3-4-3 searching for goals against the 4-4-2 formation of the Munchers. The Baggies dominated possession and chances with 5 chances to 1 for the Munchers. 3 of their 4 midfield players either scored a goal or assisted in setting one up. However it was striker Elliot who was the star of the match. Firstly on the 40 minute match from way outside the box hit home a beauty of a long range shot to make it 2-0. Then in the 2nd half he lost his marker and dove outside the box down the wing to hit in a perfect cross that Bradding headed home. The Baggies now look to be sure of promotion as well as being dark horses for the title. As for the Munchers they seemed rather flat against an impressive Baggies. Complete Domstercool 3-1 The Adorable Vikings Domstercool kept their promotion hopes just alive against an improving Vikings. The match was closer than the scoreline suggests with possession and chances being nearly equal. Rodwell somehow found an angle to hit a goal in just before half time to put Domstercool in the lead. Sadly for the Vikings Markeng the youth midfielder tried to head a ball away but ended up hitting it into his own net. However the Vikings had more chances in the 2nd half and hit back with a breakaway converted by Grimnes who hit it through the goalies legs. The game was tense right until the bitter end when Barnes whipped in a freekick for Siddall to hit home. A good win for Domstercool but the Vikings are showing signs of improvement. Recall United 0-2 Battlestar Odwinica Odwinica notched up an important away win to keep themselves front runners in the title race against a non threatening United. While United played reasonably well in defense and midfield their attacking play was bordering on embarrassing. Odwinicas defense never looked like it was going to be tested severely. Odwinica had to wait until the 2nd half to score their first goal, which was a diving header by Oy from a looping Kingston cross. Once they scored they never looked like they were going to let their lead go. Both strikers Tate and Murray had superb games but it was Tate who got his name on the score sheet with an opportunistic lunge at a deflected corner. United need to start getting more from their strikers. This is however not a problem for Odwinica. Mike Strikes FC 0-4 Mcoys Sons Mcoys Sons kept their own title hopes in a healthy condition with a strong away win against the hopeless Mike Strikes FC. Playing 4-3-3 the Sons dominated possession as well as chances 8-1 and made good on half of the chances they got. Woozley was the player to look out for as he directed possession and threaded through a magnificent ball for Jevons to score a breakaway. Jevons had a good game as well, his goal was complimented by a great cross that he hit in for Harris to convert. The Sons keep the pressure up and look at no point like they are ready to give up their unbeaten run. Analysis Most Important Result: Complete Domstercool 3-1 The Adorable Vikings, good win for Domstercool keeps him just about in contention for promotion. Turned on the Style Award: DuDs Baggies, clean clinical yet stylish performance against the respected Munchers. Player of the Day: Preston Woozley, Mcoys Sons, A rock at the back and going forward a great representative of the talent at the Sons. Tuesdays games Battlestar Odwinica 4-1 Complete Domstercool This was Domstercools last chance a loss here could spell an end to their promotion campaign and in the end it did. Not that things didn't start brightly for Domstercool, Whiteman broke away from the defence with the aid of a through ball from Muscat to score his 2nd goal of the season. However Odwinica regained control almost immediately eager to seek revenge on their defeat earlier in the season. Collin was inspired scoring a goal via a header minutes later then setting up Gialanze to make it 2-1. Odwinica poured forward creating 16 chances in the game and scored 2 more in the 2nd half, with the last one being another Collin to Gialanze combination. A great result for Odwinica who now are just a draw away (assuming the Baggies don't win by 8 goals) from a championship in their first season. Superb stuff, as for Domstercool the dream is over but they will be a tough and more streamlined team next season for newcomers to face. Mcoys Sons 2-1 The Adorable Vikings The Adorable Vikings nearly caused a shock that would have effectively ended the title race as they led the Sons for 74 minutes at the Sons home ground. Sordal with his first ever goal, made himself open during a corner kick, struck the ball fiercely which proceeded to smack against the post and go in. The Sons with 62% of possession looked dangerous and gained a penalty minutes later but this was missed by Deery who struck it wildly over the bar. More bad luck occurred for the Sons as their veteran keeper Hornby was injured reaching to punch a cross away, he will miss the Odwinica game. The Sons kept attacking with more chances and finally broke through when Gaye hit a shot for nothing while turning towards the goal that somehow went in. With their spirits deflated the Vikings struggled to hold the Sons back who got another 7 minutes later after Channon shot in a cross. In the end the Sons deserved to win but it was cruel justice for a battling Vikings. Tellstorm 0-0 Recall United A rather uninspired and niggly match between two teams that have failed to set Division 1 alight this season. Both teams played 4-4-2 and United had the better game having 59% possession and 3 chances to 1 for Tellstorm. Tellstorm lacked in midfield and attack and seemed to have no discipline earning 4 yellow cards. United were given 2 as well but seemed a more cohesive team. Both these teams will hopefully come back next season stronger. They have both had good victories against more impressive teams United beating Domstercool and Tellstorm defeating Jaffa Munchers. Tellstorm face Domstercool in their last match and will need to improve drastically to even get a draw. Jaffa Munchers 5-0 Mike Strikes FC The Munchers gained their first victory in 4 games as they defeated Mike Strikes FC. The result was never in doubt especially as Strikes had their keeper sent off injured with no replacement after a few minutes! Fariji was a rock in defense for the Munchers and also scored their first two goals! Geller also scored a couple his first being a breakaway slotted into an empty net and the second being a header from a superb cross. 5 goals were scored before the half was out and the Munchers seemed only to stop in the 2nd half because of concerns over injuries. The Munchers at one stage seemed to be a big promotion contender but could never gain a big win against a top side. However next season they will along with Domstercool surely be one of the teams to beat. Analysis Most Important Result: Battlestar Odwinica 4-1 Complete Domstercool, Odwinica look to be able to go on and win the title now, Domstercool will have to wait a season to be promoted. Turned on the Style Award: Battlestar Odwinica 4-1 Complete Domstercool, 16 chances and 4 goals a display of supreme style. Player of the Day: Peyton Collin, Battlestar Odwinica, creative and dangerous Collin summed up why Odwinica look like title winners. Thank god while a cup would be a laugh Id hate to have my players age for one especially with clubs being knocked out after two games.
  22. How would it work ageing wise? Say a team gets knocked out in round 1 and we literally just have the cup with no league is that them screwed for the season? Or can you set it so it will be a league that follows on from the cup and the cup has a minimal effect on exp like friendly. Id personally enjoy having the cup back, however I would not like it to be a season where my players age a year just via the cup.
  23. This man speaks the truth, unlike Dyson!
