Sadly my latest youth offer was a 2 so you can't win them all. Selling Calcone one of my midfield holy trinity. He leaves on a high and hopefully money raised by him can be reinvested on defensive and midfield youth talent. Oddy could I ask your advice about Harrington my defender. The guy is a literal walking piece of garbage. He has gone up wait for it. By 2 skill bars in 11 years! lol However look at my defense is he useful as an average age booster?

Change report up! 10 plus for me. Big increases in certain areas but dissapointments in others my goalie woes continue. Don't think I will be successful this time around may try and transform the team a bit.
  9. Shit I didn't even notice that and you two guys are equal in your head to head. Maybe cause Happenstance scored mroe?
  10. I think a cup is out I would like to do one but majority opinion seems to be against it.
  11. Told you, youd probably win had a bad feeling about that game. Results really turned out your way congrats on 2nd place! You have had a great first season man I hope you get a good change report. No but I really want to. Hmm what does everyone think week or two? If Mcoy and Essex could contact their friends that would be awesome. If anyone else knows anyone that wants to play please contact them and point them to this thread and let me know numbers. Apparently I can start the league again any time after the change report. Congrats on a great sesaon everyone its been really dramatic!
  12. 1st Jan catch up! Change Haden United 1-0 Secret United In a much of huge importance Haden United closed to within a point of being champion with a tense victory over Secret United. Secret United went out to attack Haden United playing a 3-4-3 formation with Haden United playing a 4-4-2 lineup. The first half was very close with only 2 chances in it. However after the whistle to restart the game, Durov the young Haden United midfielder found himself in space and broke past the undermanned Secret United defense, he slotted it past the goalie as the home fans went wild. The two teams looked well matched but Secret United only made 1 chance to Haden Uniteds 6. In the end they had no fight back and Haden United closed out the match. Both games between these two teams have been very tight affairs but with this win Haden United draws in on the title. Secret United on another day may have been the victors it was that close. Essex Elites 1-1 The Sixty Fourthers The Elites and the Sixty Fourthers failed to best each other and had to settle for a draw in a close match. Hooke headed the Elites ahead after 8 minutes as the Elites seemed to thrive using a 4-3-3 system. However Baralla assisted by the revered Kamal put the 64s back on level terms a few minutes later. The first half was a flurry of chances as the game went back and forth both teams trying to gain a late season win. The 2nd half was a much more calm affair as the teams struggled to uphold the pace of the first period of play. In the end a draw was a fair result with perhaps the 64s playing better at a push. The Elites continue to prove they aren't in this league by chance and the 64s still are lacking a spark to salvage their season. Madpool 5-5 Happenstance FC The most incredible match the report has ever witnessed was contended by two promoted sides that fought a titanic struggle. Gregor started the scoring smacking the ball in after 6 minutes to give Happenstance the lead. Happenstance had a 4-3-3 formation but Panic the youth was injured with the top scorer of the league Phingphaew coming on to replace him. Naranjo headed in a Carey corner to make it 1-1, danger was looming though as the incredible Phingphaew dove to score a header of his own from a Burbage cross. Just as the break was upon us Hadley curled one past the Happenstance goalie to make it 2-2. The atmosphere was incredible when both teams came out for the 2nd half. Phingphaew within 6 minutes scored from a weaving run and another sublime header for a hat trick. Alejo made it 5 as he sped past the Madpool defense who seemed to be falling apart at this point. Incredibly on the 57th and 58th minute Naranjo dribbled past the Happenstance defense not once but twice and converted both runs, to score his own hat trick! A minute after this Hadley supplied Quintal with a cross that he volleyed in. The two teams kept coming after each other both looking like they were going to win it, with chance after chance. Somehow it ended up a draw, what a match, it looks like this means Madpool are down but they just participated in one of the most incredible matches of the league. Tin Can Club 1-3 Roostophe Rovers No surprises in this match, Rovers give their chances of staying up a massive boost with a nice 3-1 win over Tin Can Club. Hapgood fed Mazzoleni with a ball that he flicked up and volleyed in for the first incredible goal of the match. Monington crossed it in for Grabinski to make it 2-0 before half time. With over 60% possession Rovers seemed to be cruising, however Johannsson gave Tin Can Club a brief moment of hope with a sweetly struck goal to make it 2-1. All hope was faded out as Grabinski hit another one in from outside the box just before the final whistle. Rovers take some pressure of themselves as Tin Can Club fail to make an impact. Analysis Most Important Result: Haden United 1-0 Secret United, probably decides the title race. Turned on the Style Award: Madpool and Happenstance FC, another equal award must be getting soft in the reports old age! Great game both teams provided quite a show. Player of the Day: Tobais Naranjo, scored a hat trick including 2 in 2 minutes to get his team a point and keep Phingphaew out of the spotlight (kind of). Edd Kirby Athletic 0-2 AFC Rez Rabies Athletic now look doomed as their youth side proved no match for promoted and incoming champions Rez Rabies. The match started quietly with Athletic having a 2-1 chances advantage over Rabies in the 1st half. However this may only have been because Athletic played 4-4-2 to Rabies 4-3-3. When Rabies saw more of the ball pressure came and the youth side of Athletic cracked. Saeys headed in an own goal in an awful defensive mix up, just before the end Hallerstrom shot home a goal to make it 2-0. Rabies were running wild but the excellent goalkeeping of Athletics goalie Bain made sure it was only 2-0. Athletic were outclassed and look out of ideas but hopefully their long term youth plan will work out. Rabies are back in the Premier League. Cubic County 0-0 Noodle Esporte Clube County kept their unbeaten run going (7 games now) as they drew with Noodle in a lifeless match that County will be annoyed they didn't win. Having only 3 chances County were unlucky to have both Gould and Maupas important attacking figures injured during the course of this match. Noodle who are driving for promotion only had 1 chance and lacked any real menace throughout this game. It was a bad tempered affair with 6 yellow cards shown and the fans from both teams wanted more goals than bad tackles. Still a draw is not the end of the world for either team in regards to survival and promotion. Battlestar Odwinica 4-0 Emo Blades Odwinica look to be pushing for a promotion place as they buried the inconsistent Blades. Thing started badly for the Blades with an own goal and soon got worse as skilled defender Manning was injured and replaced with the Blades stand in goalie! This caused a crisis in defense that the already on top Odwinica leapt on. Groves scored with a break away then just before half time Blades lost another player to injury, Wojcicki a valuable midfield player. Gullian and Passoni with a header and wonderful direct free kick eased Odwinica to an easy win. Promotion is almost a certainty now and the Blades still have to watch their back when it comes to being relegated. Mcoys Sons 1-3 DuDs Baggies Baggies ended a 5 game winless streak to stop the club entering a crisis mode, by beating the Sons a team who have only won twice this season. Like Athletic the Sons find themselves in trouble as they seem to play very young sides. After a back and forth but not overly exciting 1st half the Baggies were given a penalty straight at the restart. Elliot converted it to make it 1-0, however Baggies lost veteran defender Bilger in a nasty looking collision moments later. The Sons took advantage with Yorke sliding in a cross from a corner. Baggies always seemed more likely to score next though, Gilchrist has had a quiet season but headed in a nice goal to make it 2-1, set up by Guara who had a great game. Shelton blasted one in at the end of the match to make it 3-1. Baggies badly needed this win while it pours more misery onto the Sons season. Analysis Most Important Result: Edd Kirby Athletic 1-3 AFC Rez Rabies, doom for one team and promotion for another! Turned on the Style Award: Battlestar Odwinica, 10 chances and 4 goals great demolition of a defensively proficient team. Player of the Day: Nelson Guara, Duds Baggies, a great game for him helped set up a crucial goal and was a much needed creative force for the Baggies. Complete Domstercool 2-0 Recall United Complete Domstercool shocked Recall United and gave other promotion chasers a huge favor with a 2-0 victory. United played 5-4-1 against Domstercools 4-5-1formation. This seemed to nullify both teams potential to score goals as they headed into the 1st half goalless. The Domstercool goalie Smallwood was on great form as United players failed to find the net. Domstercool then struck twice near the end of the game. Holt set up Whiteman for a long range shot with 13 minutes to go. Then Holt put through Mansall who hit a goal in off the post for his 1st of the season. Domstercool haven't had the best season again but this is a great victory and a real blow to Recall United's attempts to win the championship. Martinists Men 2-1 Soap Box Utd However the Men also cause a shock beating Soap Box Utd in a close but well earned victory. Soap Box Utd played 5-3-2 and this seemed to nearly work in strategy. While they only gained 1 chance the in form Muiren scored a great header just after half term. However even with 5 defenders Utd couldn't stop the Men from scoring. The Men came forward with 6 chances and converted one firstly when White set up Irving for a quick snap shot. Then right at the death Millen shot a scrappy corner home to give the Men their best win this season. Eights United 5-0 Dudezz United continue to be ready to take advantage of any slip ups the big four make as they stalk them just a few points behind. United proved they are ready to be taken seriously with a magnificent performance against Dudezz. Dudezz may be abandoned but this was a true destruction of the side. Brodal set up two goals early on a break away and headed goal for Smerud and Bentzun, Smerud then scored another header moments later. Flatland set a headed goal up then headed his own one in to make it 5-0 on 50 minutes. United played 3-4-3 and were clearly confident in their abilities. 61% possession and 10 chances makes it clear this was a team in complete control. Great value performance from United. Discount Viagra 4-0 Made of Win Another abandoned team and another destruction job. Viagra like United played 3-4-3 and went straight after Made of Win. Atlee set Arber up twice first for a low driving shot then for a looping header. In the 2nd half Viagra pushed forward even more and finished the game with 8 chances to 0 and 66% possession. Arber was on fire and headed in another goal before setting up Ewing for a diving header. Viagra are making their push and with this performance deserve to be up their challenging for a promotion spot. Analysis Most Important Result: Martinists Men 2-1 Soap Box Utd, best ever result for the Men and a blow to Utd Turned on the Style Award: Eights United, amazing performance by this team. Player of the Day: Edward Arber, Discount Viagra, hasn't been great this season but was untouchable this game. Next two catch ups will be awards only with a final report for the final games! Very sorry been sloppy this season need to improve next time as its really fun to do when its on time! Awards will still be coming out prob at the weekend so keep your eyes peeled. Could anyone PM or post if they have friends that want to join and get them to join the boards . Anyway good luck all you guys for tommorow!
  13. Awesome And Awesome. Get them all to sign up etc try and convinve them to join the board as its good fun seeing the posts in the forum. lol np! Congrats to you btw! Done an awesome job of winning the league with time to spare.
  14. Don't run yourself down we usually have great encounters! Only have one youth player to play so if you get a win it will be deserved. Now is the time to ask about the end of the season. Have a few things lined up such as the awards again when I get round to catching up! Questions. Is everyone happy with the 3 divison system? Do we want another friendly cup in the league down time? Do you have any friends that want to join I think we have 4 teams needed. Also if people want to drop hints in gen chit chat or to friends etc that we need new players please do!
  15. Last games of 2009! When the loss streak is long And the bad GD, the bad GD is yours alone When you've sure you've had enough Of this game Hang on Dysonism F.C 1-3 Haden United A 4-3-3 playing United side bested a solid but un-dynamic 4-4-2 Dysonism outfit. Durov who was given the captains armband shot in a Agostini corner , even being a midfielder down, United created 4 chances to Dysonism's 1 in the 1st half. Weesle headed in a corner to make it 2-0 before the break. The pressure kept coming after the restart and Durov converted a cheaply given penalty to make it 3-0 on 49 minutes. Dysonism seemed to rally after this goal and created 3 chances after it against none made by United. However they would have had to had them all converted to have gained the draw. In the end only Twiggs attempt was on target, he headed in a sweetly placed Garcia cross. The win seems to place United on the road towards a title victory as they overcome this big fixture, for Dysonism relegation looms if results can't be gained/ Roostophe Rovers 2-2 Essex Elites Something of a rivalry has developed between these two teams who before today have never drawn. This season the Elites have won the battle, with a victory early in the season against the Rovers and performances well above expectation, in comparison to the Rovers disappointing season and mentioned loss. Regardless Rovers wanted to swat away the troublesome Elites early, Rovers playing their daring 3-5-2 formation scored twice within 24 minutes both goals set up by the superb Mazzoleni. Misfortune soon befell the Rovers as first Hooke crossed in a corner that Dysdale headed home. Then just before the end of the 1st half Rovers midfield star Sheldon was taken off with a light injury. Hooke then made a later impact curling home a goal to make the away fans ecstatic. His celebration may have been viewed as excessive as just before the end of the match, Rovers midfielder Grover fulled by frustration barged into Hooke leaving him injured and earning himself a straight red. Rovers did better than their rivals Dysonism by picking up a point but still need some wins, the Elites have come on leaps and bounds from last season and leave the Rovers after 2 matches with 4 points. The Sixty Fourthers 2-1 Secret United Secret United lost a hard fought battle that they looked to be in control with most of the game. With 3 yellow cards and 3 light injuries the first half was a pitched battle between the two teams. The legend Brusling still with United for now, made the breakthrough as he shot in a great MacCalman cross. The 64s seemed less creative than United but somehow put one in the back of the net via a Goblecoqe header just before the end of the first half. However as the game closed up the 64s had their backs to the wall. But they frustrated United who looked the better side for much of the game. While launching one last attack United were caught by the 64s who hit back with Kamal shooting in a goal from close range. The 64s came away with a win needed to re-establish confidence at the club. While Secret United see their title hopes slip away after a great performance. Tin Can Club 0-3 Madpool Madpool demolished Tin Can Club in a comprehensive display of attacking football. In the first half Madpool created an incredible 8 chances against the 1 of the awful Tin Can Club. Quintal and Carey headed a goal in each to put Madpool 2-0 up after 16 minutes. The first half saw Madpool end with nearly 70% possession as they took it easy when the 2nd half started. Ullathorpe and Naranjo combined with Naranjo heading in an Ullathorpe cross to make it 3-0. Madpool may still be likely to go down but they have at times produced great football in this highly competitive league. Analysis Most Important Result: Dysonism F.C 1-3 Haden United, United seem to be home free with this result while Dysonism are looking relegation in the face. Turned on the Style Award: Madpool, nearly 70% possession at one stage and 11 chances, amazing. Player of the Day: Alfie Hooke, Essex Elites, shone in a tough game which he got stretched off of, but not before he made an impact. AFC Rez Rabies 2-0 Noodle Esporte Clube Rabies fended off a title challenger as they scored a big 2-0 victory against Noodle at home. Playing 4-3-3 Rabies were out for the kill but Noodle played 4-4-2 undaunted. The first half was very quiet with only 1 chance a piece. However soon into the 2nd half a wonderful Soder found the young wonder striker Fjallstrom with a through ball who broke the deadlock. After this Noodle found it hard to respond and it was Rabies who looked the more likely. A young but talented Noodle defense performed well above expectations to keep the Rabies at bay. However in injury time Fjallstrom made it 2 hitting in a close range shot. Rabies complete the double over Noodle, a statistic that is surely vital in their success considering this club has only lost 1 other time! Rabies are now almost sure to be promoted with Noodle looking to follow. Battlestar Odwinica 4-0 Mcoys Sons The Odwinica manager has given the Sons manager many a compliment in the past, but todays match felt like master and apprentice at times. The surely doomed Sons were dismantled by Odwinica in a near flawless fashion. The Sons played 4-3-3 but were hostage to Odwinica who played 4-4-2 being in control of every part of the field especially the midfield. 65% possession and 12 chances to 0 sum this match up. Tate and Bello scored two early goals to put the match beyond doubt after 27 minutes. Tate and Bello then added another goal each both from headers to make it 4. The 4 goals were provided one each from all of Odwinicas mid fielders. Odwinica have risen from a tough but flawed side to near promotion certainties in dramatic fashion. The Sons now seem likely to be relegated, their managers focus on youth has cost him this season but hopefully will pay off in the long term. Silverdale Hotpot 1-1 Cubic County Silverdale Hotpot faced in form Cubic County whose unbeaten run continued in a bad tempered match. The youth Harley broke away from Silverdale's defense that was for most of the game in good form, but Harley took advantage of this slip up and put County in the lead after 30 minutes. 5 yellow cards and 2 injuries one serious on Andervi the Silverdale midfielder followed, as both teams realized the seriousness of this encounter. With seconds to go Silverdale threw everyone forward in this virtual 6 point relegation battle. 19 year old Hudson took a desperate shot as the seconds ticked away, it looped over the County defense and cracked the top of the bar to go in. Silverdale fans screamed the house down as County fans despaired that their team had been sunk in the dying seconds. The momentum is still with County but this was a vital point for Silverdale. Emo Blades 3-0 Edd Kirby Athletic Another relegation skirmish occurred as the Blades brushed aside Athletic with 3 goals to none. Athletic were outwitted by the Blades, Athletic played 3-4-3 trying to force the Blades defense open. However the Blades prepared a 5-4-1 formation leaving their defense prepared and sole attacker not as isolated as usual. The result was the best match of Zecas career in what has been a very poor season. Zeca first scored with a header on 36 minutes to put the Blades 1-0 ahead. He complimented this late in the 2nd half, first with a violent shot to make it 2-0. Then Zeca broke away from the weakened Athletic defense and smashed it in the top right corner. Athletic had no response and the Blades earned a much needed victory. Analysis Most Important Result: AFC Rez Rabies 2-0 Noodle Esporte Clube, the double is completed and Rabies are near being crowned champions. Turned on the Style Award: Battlestar Odwinica, an awesome display of tactics and offense. Player of the Day: Afonso Zeca, Emo Blades, has had a horrid season but really shone today. Made of Win 1-1 Martinists Men Made of Win scored a rare point as they held the men to a 1-1 draw at home. In what has to be considered one of the poorest matches of the season both teams seemed to limp out of their locker rooms. Men however started brightly with White scoring after 15 minutes. The rest of the half was marked my 1 chance for Made of Win and an injury a piece for both the teams. Buttery scored his first goal for Made of Win this season with a diving header on the 72 minute. The few remaining Made of Win fans cheered as their side gained another point to put towards their embarrassing record. Soap Box Utd 0-0 Recall United In what could be seen as a crucial title and promotion match both teams came out very cautiously. With Soap Box Utd playing 5-3-2 and Recall United playing 5-4-1 both teams stacked their defenses desperate not to loose. And in the end neither team did. Soap Box had more chances but both their attackers played very poorly and were closed down by Recalls impressive defense. Deacon played quite well for Recall, but 1 striker vs 5 defenders are very bad odds. These two teams may have done themselves each a favor as Viagra and the Munchers chase them for titles and other promotion spots. Discount Viagra 4-3 Eights United Viagra and United took part in a titanic battle worthy of classical chronicles in the best match of the day. Just like their last match both teams played 4-3-3 and the results were explosive. Flatland scored after 2 minutes with a shot that rebounded in off the post for United. Ewing broke away from the United defense to make it 1-1 going into half time. United seemed ready for Viagra and poured forward creating 6 chances and gaining a penalty after 2 minutes. However Gresdahls blasting shot was saved by the Viagra goalie who pushed it aside. Viagra now attacked back with a Jordan header and Ewing breakaway making it 3-1. Flatland mounted a United response with a screamer to make it 3-2 minutes after this. Viagra were not shaken as Flood hit his own long range shot a curler from the corner of the box into United's net. The drama in this incredible game was not over, Smerud dodged into the Viagra box and bundled the ball into the back of the net. Viagra looked more dangerous but United were making more chances. However in the end Viagra held out in one of the most entertaining games of the season. Viagra looked to have ended Uniteds promotion hopes in this titanic struggle. But United should be proud in participating in such a great match. Jaffa Munchers 3-0 Complete Domstercool Maybe now outsiders, the Munchers kept the pressure on as they dispatched of Domstercool with relative ease. Molhov was on fine form for the Munchers helping create two goals. Firstly one for Poschner the young striker who has been on fire this season, who headed in a Molhov cross. Molhov crossed again for McAnuff to head in. Molhov was injured later in the game but the goals kept on coming. McAnuff complimented his goal by setting up Poschner for another, Poschner easily finished a nice ground cross to make it 3. Munchers still have what it takes to go up and proved it with a elegant performance against an out of ideas Domstercool. Analysis Most Important Result: Soap Box Utd 0-0 Recall Utd, neither team was able to take advantage in this tense game. Turned on the Style Award: Discount Viagra and Eights United, for the first time ever a shared award, a great game with drama and style from both teams. Player of the Day: Willie Ewing, Discount Viagra, got the goals that mattered in this amazing game.
  16. No they are random, dirty tricks will inform you that someone has done something nasty, if it has succeeded or not and if the person who did it was found out or not. Just been scouting the promoted teams to the Premier, and holy shit at Oddys defense I just know that sicko will be champ again withint 1 or 2 seasons
  17. Sealed the Title! But Elites took out Van Weesle

Turned on the Style Award: Dysonism F.C, 9 chances to 0 against one of the most respected sides in the league. Player of the Day: Danny Ling, Essex Elites, made the Elites a slick efficient side against the resurgent Madpool. Silverdale Hotpot 0-1 AFC Rez Rabies DuDs Baggies 0-1 Battlestar Odwinica Edd Kirby Athletic 2-3 Mcoys Sons Noodle Esporte Clube 2-0 Emo Blades Analysis Most Important Result: DuDs Baggies 0-1 Battlestar Odwinica, very tough decision and frankly all of these results are important ones this time around, however this one stuck out as it seems to have separated promotion contenders from potential rivals. Turned on the Style Award: Mcoys Sons, keeping their chances of staying up on life support with an incredible display of style away from home. Player of the Day: Nisse Soder, AFC Rez Rabies, a rock in defense helped Rabies edge this match. Martinists Men 1-2 Eights United Jaffa Munchers 0-2 Soap Box Utd Dudezz 1-2 Discount Viagra Recall United 5-0 Made of Win Analysis Most Important Result: Jaffa Munchers 0-2 Soap Box Utd, the Munchers had a real chance to go for the title with this game but Soap Box triumphed and must be viewed as favorites for the title now. Turned on the Style Award: Recall United, easy demolition job done with incredible style. Player of the Day: Ove Smerud, Eights United, scored a vital goal and helped Eights United in the midfield battle to get a great away win.
  19. lol that was mental. Think I win the league with that result unless Tin Can Club comes back to life.
  20. Np man hope you get a win for the next report hehe. Which at this rate will come out in febuary!
  21. What... What are we waiting for? To see what kind of hell Oddy breaks loose next season. Roostophe Rovers 1-1 Dysonism F.C Matches between these two teams have customary been high scoring affairs but this season they have played out two 1-1 draws. Both teams haven't really hit their full stride this season, with this being especially true of current champions Rovers. Rovers therefore wanted to win this game against their old rivals, they set out a 3-4-3 formation and went after Dysonism. The 1st half was very tight Rovers sneaked ahead 1-0 as Mazzoleni shot in a goal from the 6 yard box. Rovers looked threating but Dysonism's defense was also impressive, Rovers who have been so unlucky with injuries this season lost another player early in the 2nd half. Tartara who was looking for his 2nd goal in his opening season had to be stretchered off after falling very akwardley after a botched shot attempt. Dysonism only played 1 striker with caution in mind not attack but with 9 minutes left Garcia headed in his 3rd ever goal for Dysonism. Rovers were stunned and could not respond, this was a vital win for Dysonism who still retain an advantage over Rovers in their relegation battle. Happenstance FC 2-1 Essex Elites Happenstance threw their dice on the table playing 4-3-3 as they sought to gain revenge on the Elites and climb up the table. Things started well as Alejo broke away from the Elites defense and put Happenstance ahead after 12 minutes. However the Elites are not in the top half of the division by chance and the youth Sharpe scored his first ever goal for the Elites with a shot range shot that ricocheted in off the post. Spajic who has been in awesome form recently, shone yet again as he set up Alejo for the winner, a shot from a curling corner. Elites played 4-5-1 and had no response as the minute ticked away. Happenstance are charging forward after the Elites and maybe higher positions, the Elites have had a great season but would have wanted a draw from this game ideally, even if it isn't their style! Madpool 3-1 Secret United Madpool severely hurt United's title chances while clinging on to a shot at survival with an impressive win over United. Madpool rushed out the blocks and shocked travelling United fans as they scored twice within the first 15 minutes. Book headed in an Ullathorpe cross after a mere 2 minutes, this was followed by Book returning the favor and setting up Ullathorpe with a cross that he tapped in from close range. Madpool held this lead at the break, after the restart United tried to mount a come back when Rafaelinho poked an in swinging cross past the goalie. However on the 65th minute Kit the other United striker was sent off for a terrible mistime sliding tackle. Madpool took their chance as Hadley who was masterful in midfield back heeled the ball to Ullathorpe who smacked in a long range shot. Ullathorpe was injured on 79 minutes and left the pitch to a standing ovation from the home fans. Madpool didn't let him down and went on to hold out for the 3-1 win. United are dropping points at a crucial stage of the season but are still in line for a great finish, Madpool might not survive but are on a great run at the moment. The Sixty Fourthers 0-0 Haden United The 64s are in a weird position they seem to be to strong to be dragged down into the relegation battle but are to inconsistent to drive for the top spots. This game may have been a case in point, after being the only team so far to beat Haden United at their home ground you would have thought 64s would have really gone for the home win and complete a great double. However the 64s played 5-4-1 which United were quite happy to sit back and stop the 64s single striker getting any space. The match was a rather boring one to this end with 2 chances for both teams as the game went on both seem content with a draw. The only notable thing that happened was Camconi left the pitch with a very serious injury maybe a break after an awkward fall in the 1st minute. His future may well be in doubt after that. Analysis Most Important Result: Madpool 3-1 Secret United, Madpool keeps their slim hopes of stay up alive while Secret United lose ground on Haden United. Turned on the Style Award: Happenstance FC, looked like a force of nature when they attacked Essex Elites. Player of the Day: Val Ullathorpe, Madpool, 2 goals and an assist great performance by the vetran. Emo Blades 2-1 Silverdale Hotpot Blades up and down season continues with a nail biting victory over Silverdale. The Blades decided to play 5-3-2 but this formation seem to have been made a mockery of within 4 minutes as the over manned defense gave away a penalty. Hudson hit it home to put Silverdale 1-0 up. The Blades with their 3 man midfield failed to make any chances in the 1st half as Silverdale hunted for a 2nd. However the Blades pulled themselves together in the 2nd half and on the 70 minute mark Heimdal headed the ball in. The Blades stole possession from the restart and charged up the pitch and Shannonbridge a mere minute later scored from close range with his 1st of the season. Now the Blades formation choice was vindicated as Silverdale had nothing left to throw at the Blades. Both these teams hadn't been beaten for a while so for Blades to win was a nice momentum shift. They are both sides whose fate is far from decided at this point. AFC Rez Rabies 1-2 Cubic County Noone saw this one coming. With County on an unbeaten run many thought the County side may go for a 0-0 draw but when they came out playing 4-3-3 just as Rabies were the crowd were shocked. The game started on script as Rabies went ahead after 10 minutes via a coolly taken penalty. County were determined to attack and had a penalty of their own given, but star player Maupas blasted it over to the dismay of away supporters. The 2nd half started and Rabies fans seemed for once a little on edge, Rabies were making few chances and seemed worn out. Time was ticking on though and County were running out of chances, on the 75th minute defender Dale took a pot shot outside the box and it somehow went in off the crossbar! For his first goal of the season. A minute after this County were awarded a corner that Dale hit in and was headed home by Harley. Rabies had nothing in response and surely the upset of the season occurred today. Countys unbeaten run carries on and could a resurrection be occurring? Rabies are still in command but are not invincible. DuDs Baggies 1-1 Edd Kirby Athletic The Baggies winless run continued as a determined Athletic took a point from the Baggies at their home ground. Playing 3-5-2 Baggies tried to suffocate their opponents in the midfield. This was interesting as Athletic played 4-3-3 meaning the difference between the two midfield's was a large one. This resulted in Baggies having 60% possession but in the end only 1 more chance than Athletic with 7-6. One of the first of these chances was a controversial penalty for Athletic that was saved by the Baggies goalie. The referee was given a bad report by both managers but equaled himself out by also giving Baggies a penalty. The young captain Elliot made no mistake and hit it in the top right corner. However moments before this the Baggies goalie was substituted for the youth goalie following an injury. Atheletics attack which lest forget had 3 strikers against 3 defenders, had been competent if not thrilling. However they took advantage of this weakness and goalie change when Bennington knocked in the ball from a set piece cross. Both these teams are having a ruff time of it at the moment and need some inspiration. This time last season Athletic seemed buried and had a wonderful end to the season. For the Baggies they just need 1 win to restart their campaign. Mcoys Sons 1-2 Noodle Esporte Clube Noodle have been a team that have quietly without the big results of Rabies been climbing up the table and placing themselves nicely as promotion contenders. They showed they meant business within minutes as Ferraz tore through the Sons defense for his 1st goal of the season. However this was a fast paced match and the Sons hit their own break away with in form Harris making it 1-1. It was Ferraz who was the difference maker as he put through Zakay who got the winner for Noodle. Results like this are really why the Sons are looking almost certain to go down and why Noodle are looking a safer bet each game to go up. Analysis Most Important Result: AFC Rez Rabies 1-2 Cubic County, amazing by County the on form side at the moment would be incredible if they stayed up, do Rabies have the strength to bounce back after this shock. Turned on the Style Award: Cubic County, outgunned Rabies at the style of play they have been so proficient in. Player of the Day: Oswald Dale, Cubic County, 36 year old defender was everywhere today helping County win with a goal and assist. Soap Box Utd 3-0 Complete Domstercool Soap Box Utd triumphed over a lackluster Domstercool. Soap Box played 4-4-2 but they could have easily gone with a more offensive line up. Despite this Soap Box dominated with 7 chances to 1 and 65% possession. Scoring came reliably through the match with goals and assists also being spread out. Bose set up the first two goals and did well dominating the midfield battle considering Domstercool were a man up. Rosando scored twice first with a header and then with a close range shot. Soap Box did what they had to do as they have most of the season, their promotion is nearing being academic. Their manager may wish to bring in some more youths to balance his squad and long term strategies, but the mangers talent this season has shone. Dudezz 2-0 Martinists Men These two managerless teams clashed with Dudezz winning through. Dudezz while not having a manager still has talent in their team. Hassall was supreme as Dudezz created more chances than the Men. Livett headed in a Hassall cross in the 1st half to make it 1-0. The Men made some chances in the 2nd half but Dudezz defender Hand was in excellent form and stemmed the tide. Hassall later set up Stone for a close range shot to close the match off. It is a shame both of these sides have been abandoned as they obviously have potential in many areas. Both of them along with Made of Win are at the bottom of the table because of their lack of tactics. Eights United 2-1 Recall United Eights United won a dramatic match to upset Recall United in a thrilling encounter. Recall United seemed determined to get a draw at least as they played 5-4-1 against the 3-5-2 of Eights United. This midfield advantage let Eights United create more chances in the first half and maybe because of the number of defenders, Recall United defender Whiteside headed the ball into his own net. After this Recall who are title contenders seemed alive to the need to score. They created chance after chance and were rewarded as Clooney lobbed the goalie from outside the box to make it 1-1. Recall kept coming forward but were unable to capitalize on the chances they had. Eights United supporters would have at this point loved a draw but in the dying moments of extra time Bentzen the rookie forward hit in his first ever goal for Eights United. The stadium gave a huge roar for the goal. Eights dream of promotion or at the least a wonderful first season carries on as Recall lose some vital points. Made of Win 1-4 Jaffa Munchers Jaffa Munchers rallied themselves to stop a abandoned Made of Win beating them. With the 1st half being quiet Munchers fans were nervous, these nerves were tested when Made of Win took the lead thanks to a O'Brien header on 61 minutes. This kick started the Munchers and Haky especially, who delivered two incredible crosses that were headed in to put the Munchers in the lead a mere 6 minutes later. Algazi then decided to score his first goals of the season with, two headers one of which was delivered by Haky. The promotion race is tense but the Munchers who had an awful start to the season seem to be ready for the fight. Analysis Most Important Result: Eights United 2-1 Recall United, proves the lower league has more depth in talent than it is given credit for. Turned on the Style Award: Soap Box, their demolition job was the definition of style. Player of the Day: Shai Haky, Jaffa Munchers, 3 assists inspired his team in a match they had to win. Late again still catching up but I just can't keep to my promises so won't make anymore. The main thing is all the awards are still being counted for the end of the season so one thing is in order!
  22. Unexpected win. Think I might be one win away from the champ now if results go in my favour! Sorry about lack of reports will get one up today.
  23. Where did all the season go? Matches from way back (18th Dec!) trying to do a report a day to catch up during these Merry times! Enjoy! Haden United 1-0 Roostophe Rovers In a tense match United completed the double over Rovers with a second 1-0 victory against the former champions. United played 4-3-3 against Rovers 3-5-2 formation and tried to score an early goal. However chances were very limited in the first half with both teams struggling to create much in a match that had large significance for both managers. As United desperately sought a goal to keep their lead at the top of the table intact, Moscardi whipped in a ball that Weesle nodded in to the rapture of the home crowd. Rovers were unable to hit back and after their win against the 64s seemed to reignite their season they suffer another loss that puts the club in danger. For United it was a vital win to put pressure on Secret United and Essex Elites as the games run out for the chasing clubs. Secret United 4-2 Happenstance FC An action pack matched saw United keep up the title chase against a resurgent Happenstance. Happenstance were the first team to beat United this season 4-1 at home so United had something to prove. They struck twice before half time as the game proved to be an incredibly open one with 17 chances in all. Crowley hit in a goal from close range then set up Noel for a volley just before half time. However Happenstance were not going down easily and Gregor blasted one in from the 6 yard box. But the action was end to end and Rafaelinho scored from a corner literally a minute later. Spajic set another goal up as Happenstance's hero Phingphaew headed the ball in the net and ran back with the ball to restart the match as Happenstance pressed for a famous victory. Rafaelinho finished the match off though as right at the death he weaved past a Happenstance defender and slotted the ball into the bottom right hand corner. United deserved the win and keep the pressure up on Haden United as the title chase draws to a close. However Happenstance were great at times and it shows how far they have come this season to make this match so dramatic. Madpool 3-3 Dysonism F.C Madpool nearly scored a massive boost to their slim hopes of staying in the top league in a dramatic game against Dysonism. The two teams with the most amount of goals clashing always hinted at a large scoreline. Ullathorpe blasted in a goal after 7 minutes to give Madpool fans some hope before Spririto hit back for Dysonism with a header 10 minutes later. Madpool exploited the fact that Dysonism only had 3 defenders with both Quintal and Hadley finding themselves with space to set up a long range goal. Sandford who was on terrific form headed in an effort just before half time to mean Dysonism were only trailing by one goal. At the restart Dysonism's midfield took over and created 5 chances compared to 1 for Madpool. In comparison Madpool made 6 to Dysonism's 2 in the 1st half. This dominance of chances led to a goal quickly after the restart as the superb Sandford set up Twigg who made no mistake in leveling the game. Madpool held on as Dysonism charged forward. This is without a doubt a good result for Dysonism but does not kill off Madpool who could still survive if they had a surge of great form. Essex Elites 3-1 Tin Can Club The Elites keep their title ambitions alive as they defeated a doomed and (possibly) abandoned Tin Can Club. Both teams played 4-3-3 but the game was comparatively quiet in the 1st half with only Pizulli scoring after being put through by Ling. However a shock seemed to be occurring as Johannsson made it 1-1 just after half time as the Elites were caught napping. However the Elites have not drawn once so far and didn't plan to today either, the game opened up with chances for both sides. However it was the Elites headed by the wonderful Ling who won the day, Ling crossed the goal in for Marples to shoot home to make it 2-1. Then just before the end of the game Ling again crossed it in for Marples who headed it home and finished the game off. Elites have to win games like this to carry on what is shaping up to be the best ever finish for the club. Analysis Most Important Result: Haden United 1-0 Roostophe Rovers, vital win for United to keep momentum up while Rovers are still stuck in a relegation fight. Turned on the Style Award: Secret United, all out attack as they pay back Happenstance for the pairs earlier meeting. Player of the Day: Danny Ling, Essex Elites, stepped up to make sure the Elites scored the goals and got the victory with 3 assists. Mcoys Sons 1-2 Silverdale Hotpot Mcoys Sons fell to Silverdale Hotpot who fielded a 4-5-1 formation and landed an important away victory against the Sons. Silverdale created 3 chances to the Sons 1 in the 1st half, with their numbers advantage in midfield showing. Surprisingly 2 of these were converted as the Sons were unable to deal with Silverdale's singular striker. Hudson hit it past the goalie after 10 minutes, then McIntyre headed in his first ever goal for the club. The Sons looked good in attack but failed to create many chances, with only 2 more in the 2nd half being made as Silverdales midfield and defense locked them out. Jbil carried on a quite successful opening season as he scored a direct free kick. But it was to little to late and the Sons who needed a point at least look in big trouble now. Silverdale push on and are chasing after the title contenders in the league. Cubic County 0-0 Emo Blades County played 4-3-3 and put all their effort into breaking down the Blades defense but in the end failed to make an impact. The Blades star goalie Packham was injured after 19 mins and substituted and with County creating 4 chances to the Blades 1 this seemed like just the chance County needed to turn draws into wins. Ashby the player some people associate the most with County failed to be the striker that was needed. He performed the worst out of all 3 strikers and his manager will not be happy. Blades did not have their own star Zeca playing so were lacking in striking power also. A draw keeps both these sides in the relegation fight with both badly needing victories. Noodle Esporte Clube 2-2 DuDs Baggies The Baggies who were flying high mere games ago are struggling to get wins as the 2nd half of the season starts. They did well to hold high flying Noodle to a draw though at Noodles home ground. Competition between these two clubs has been tight with 1 win a piece and 1 draw heading into this match. Morais headed Noodle ahead as it was Noodle who seemingly wanted to take the victory and command of this rivalry. Baggies with 5 midfielders dominated possession and converted two chances before half time. The first being a Forsyth header, then moments later the Noodle defense still reeling failed to mark another cross, leading to a Hulbert header putting the Baggies ahead. The Baggies came out in the 2nd half looking like they could score even more! However Noodle's defense and goalie somehow stopped them. Then on the break Zakay was put through by Eden, Zakay shot past the goalie and made it 2-2. It was a very interesting match and a draw may be the fairest result. Both these teams represent why the middle league is such an exciting place. Edd Kirby Athletic 0-1 Battlestar Odwinica The problem for Athletic who have never beaten Odwinica, that was highlighted in this match, is they are facing a team who like themselves are strong in defense but stronger than them in attack. While Athletic are not so weak in attack as last season They at no point during this game looked like overcoming Odwinica's fortress like defense. Athletic confident of their own abilities in this department, played a 3-5-2 formation hoping that with the back secure they could dominate possession and score. However Odwinica's midfield inspired by Groves actually created more chances (3-2) than Athletic! In the end Tate who came on as a substitute for an injured Oliver headed in a dramatic 82 minute goal that Groves crossed in. Odwinica have not been the all powerful force that some unfairly predicted a 2nd season team might be. But when crunch games like this occur it is usually Odwinica that edges them. Analysis Most Important Result: Edd Kirby Athletic 0-1 Battlestar Odwinica, Odwinica are back after a poor double to their winning ways, Athletic after a good double are back in trouble. Turned on the Style Award: DuDs Baggies, 8 chances and 2 goals with only 1 striker, manager may have preferred 3 points to this award though. Player of the Day: Morris Drynan, Silverdale Hotpot, great defensive work earned Silverdale a 2nd away win for the season. Complete Domstercool 2-0 Made of Win This could be a candidate for worst match of the season in any league as both the match was very much boys vs boys. Domstercool luckily played 4-4-2 to ensure their would at least be goals to entertain the fans. Whiteman struck first as the horrendous Made of Win defense failed to pick him up in their 6 yard box, he made no mistake finishing. Benham after the break headed in a goal to give Made of Win no way back. Domstercools defense was actually the best part of the match and closed down attacks quickly even with 3 attackers against them. Made of Win's team will likely be retired at the end of this season and Domstercool needs to refocus as while his team got the win they should have scored much more. Martinists Men 2-3 Discount Viagra After a disappointing double loss to Recall United Viagra needed a win badly to set their season straight and they gained a hard fought one against the Men. Viagra played 3-4-3 as they went out to attack the Men. However the Men struck first with Millen heading in a close range effort after 6 minutes. Jordan was fed a great cross by Hackworth and he headed in a goal for Viagra a mere 3 minutes later. The game of ping pong carried on as Men took the lead with another header from Johnson before Jordan scored yet again for Viagra with you guessed it a header to make it 2-2! Hackworth who was immense in midfield crossed it in again for Jordan to head in a 3rd goal. The Men were tired and unable to hit back after this. Viagra fought really hard for the win and it was just what they needed after their defeat. Recall United 4-0 Dudezz United easily brushed aside Dudezz as they keep up their double momentum to make their promotion and maybe title credentials clear. Oddly United played 5-4-1 surely for experience sake for younger players as Dudezz created one chance and looked no threat at all. Not that it mattered, Whiteside hit in a direct free kick after 3 minutes and from then on it was just a question of how many. McCartney still on top form scored 2 one a long range shot the other a break away showing his versatility. Whiteside set up Hollingdale for a close range effort as United easily closed the match off. United have never finished above 6th in any league competition but this season are really back on track as their manager has made full use of great talents at his disposal and surely are a favorite to go up. Eights United 1-1 Jaffa Munchers Eights United have been seen as a bit of an underdog in this league but when Munchers set them a challenge after scoring via a McAnuff goal after 3 minutes, United showed they were full of spirit. At times maybe a bit to much, this game had 8 yellow cards and a straight red as both sides fought for their lives to get as much out of the game as they could. Aizenberg was a causality of this rough play as he limped off for the Munchers. United player Ground also was helped off as the play and the cards came flying. United made more and more chances as did the Munchers. But as the Munchers grew more needy for a 2nd goal, striker Poschner dove in for a 50/50 ball and was given a straight red for a two footed tackle. It seemed not to matter until right at the death in injury time Ostbye scored his first ever United goal to the roars of the home crowd. United may be extreme outsiders for promotion but they are full of fight and gave Munchers a bloody nose in this epic encounter. Analysis Most Important Result: Martinists Men 2-3 Discount Viagra, Viagra badly needed a win after the awful double result they had and just about got it. Turned on the Style Award: Recall United, utterly dominant display 7 chances and 62% possession with 4 goals. Player of the Day: Gabriel Jordan, Discount Viagra, amazing hat trick gave his team a much needed win.
  24. You only played 1 striker though! Take that sicko out with 2 or 3 next time. Sorry for the no show reports just been hetic may have to just do awards again to catch up. Won a close game against Cube in a friendly thanks for the game needed it badly.
