Exactly. This game is now just gonna be sitting there (where ever the hell there may be) gathering dust until Q4... Great. I am actually quite annoyed by this as I was really looking forward to playing it next month. By the time October gets here we'll no doubt be seeing some great new titles from Nintendo and even more 3rd party stuff too, so this game is definitely going to suffer as a result I reckon. I know the chance of me getting it at launch is very slim now anyway.

I'm getting increasingly worried about the PAL launch for this game. There are a lot of good games on the way very soon and I just don't see this fitting into the equation somehow, not before Motion Plus comes out anyway, and I think that's going to be a really bad move if they hold this back beyond that point. Come on NoE, surprise us... please!

Hmm... not good. My advice would be to just buy it online, it's in stock at GAME. No way man! I'm telling you the game is quality, if you loved Kororinpa you're going to love this too. I've been playing it loads today and have much more praise to lavish on it, but I'll refrain from doing so because I don't want to hurt any more wallets. Here's some incentive for competitive players to pick the game up though : Yup, online ranking (only for specific stages though). And look at that, I'm currently the best in the UK at Ranking Stage 01! Obviously because no one else can find the bloody game.

My apologies to your wallet amigo, but you do be wanting this game. Trust me.

Well, I've fallen in love... with Marbles! Balance Challenge! The game has got everything that was awesome about Kororinpa, but with a whole lot more. And most importantly, all of the additions are superb. I've played the first 20 or so Balance Board stages now and although they start out being very simple in terms of design/difficulty, things do pick up quite a bit the more you progress. And control using the BB is absolutely spot on. Edit mode is also a complete gem, giving you access to all of the parts/options to make pretty much any kind of stage you can imagine, lots of additional stuff to be unlocked for it too. Plus it is super easy to use. The presentation is great and puts a lot of other recent 3rd party efforts to shame *cough MADWORLD cough*, here we've got true 16:9, 480p and DPLII. Perfect! So yeah, I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone that owns a Wii. It makes fantastic use of the system in pretty much every single way, and it's just loads of fun to play, really an absolute blast! Now that is strange. I hope this isn't going to be another case of yet another great Wii game being given a really muted release and not getting a chance to achieve good sales.

Got my copy today. Had a quick go on it this morning (first few stages) seems to be the perfect sequel to Kororinpa. Certainly a nice improvement visually, while still retaining the vibe of the original. And the new horizontal Wii Remote control scheme is also great! Looking forward to trying out the Balance Board stages and edit mode tonight. Any other N-E peeps pick this one up?

Kororinpa 2 came out today in Europe under the name Marbles! Balance Challenge. My copy arrived this morning from GAME. Not sure about the other two games though, don't think they have Euro dates yet.

I've also finished campaign mode now, it's funny how the first stage of the 5th campaign is by far the most difficult. Anyway, beating the campaign unlocked TUMIKI Fighters, which for some strange reason runs really badly on the Wii (compared to the PC version) with loads of frame skips! Quite disappointed by that. I beat arcade mode today too, that unlocked rRootage, which I'm absolutely loving and luckily (unlike TUMIKI Fighters) runs perfectly. H-o-T, have you done any campaign/arcade stages on Pilot or Ace difficulty yet? I tried a few on those settings earlier (want to unlock some of the additional editor content/game play cheats) sure makes the game a lot harder, and even more fun in my opinion. We're talking almost Ikaruga levels of insanity!

Indeed, but where exactly is this news? As far as I can tell it's just based on someone pre-ordering the game somewhere. I mean it's still up for pre-order on Play.com and no doubt other places too, doesn't make it a dead cert for release though does it?

I'm on the 5th campaign now, haven't managed to beat it yet though! How about you? Yeah, I guess I'd agree with that. But having spent a bit more time in the campaign mode I do think it is a really fun part of game, and the sticky enemies mechanic is just brilliant. Not forgetting the fact that there are 4 unlockable games in there too. Plus like I mentioned before, those that don't dig the creation aspect can still enjoy downloading additional levels etc. from the depot. Speaking of which, I'm really getting in to making my first level now. Have created a load of different characters, just need to start putting it all together and try to resist the temptation of making it OTT.
