  1. Lets face it most people on these boards and on most other Nintendo forums don’t really give a damn about the visuals as long as there functional…but that’s because we are for the most part we are Nintendo fans and hard core gamers. What Nintendo must have realised by now is that if rev is to be a hit it has to catch the attention of the average Joe Sope! And most of them are caught of guard by shinny visuals and big explosions! Fortunately for Nintendo there is another root available (carved by Nintendo themselves) and that is innovation and affordability. Just look at ds psp sales and it is evident that there is a market for cheaper more creative products! And if rev is as cheap as we hope... it will be a no brainer purchase for the other console owners as well! Nintendo have done there homework this time around I think. (crosses his fingers just encase!)
  2. ye can you put the link up just to have a look?
  3. The thought of a dedicated physics processor for rev never occurred to me but now the more that I think about it the more it makes sense! This would explain the relatively low system specs on other components, if there is a PPU it will free up the other components to do there own thing and not have to deal with such complex real-time maths. This also might strengthen the idea of rev being more powerful in the visual department than the specs let on(for the people who still care)?
  4. Going to electric picnic in Dublin, chemical brothers basement jaxx the yeah yeah yeahs massive attack and dj shadow to name but a few!! 3 days of greatness! But not until September….
  5. Blizzard tend not to make mediocre games, if this game was going to suck blizzard would have just scraped it, obviously they think they have a game worth developing and if there track record is anything to go by this game will kick ass and sport some very polished visuals.
  6. If the this console is to be a truly revolutionary machine it has to be more than just the remote, I have no clue as to what else it might be, but thinking about it always brings me back to the idea that they have revolutionised the way we interact with games so to totally revolutionise gaming is to revolutionise the way we perceive games, E3 couldn’t be further away for me right now!
  7. This is something we all knew was probably going to happen anyway but it is good to hear it from an official source. My guess (hopes?) is that along with different control setup the extra power from rev could be used to give a graphical boost to an already beautiful game with possible use of normal maps and real-time reflections? Higher res texture maps and increased level of geometry these are all things that could be just add in as things are progressing on the cube version imagine a smaller team working on a port of the game for rev? Any thoughts? Also this is my first post here so a friendly hello to all!
