  1. Jokes can be hard to do when you refuse to use emoticons...
  2. Trust me, that was completely intentional.
  3. Geez, I've apologised. Stop throwing punches! And that Direct you posted is not the same scenario.
  4. Look, at this point, if you get spoiled on a NES game, it's your fault for waiting so long.
  5. One could argue that given that intention, choosing an obvious hoax as the subject might not have been the most ideal method. Alright, no need to get sarky. That's my thing. I apologise. Looking back, what I said was a bit harsh.
  6. Every single dungeon in Skyward Sword is more interesting than the Divine Beasts. Whether it be Time Travel Robot Pirate Ship, or surprisingly complex first dungeon of Mechanical Beetle flight. Hell, manipulating an entire dungeon layout is something Skyward Sword did already. And it did it bigger and better. You know block puzzles? Swapping them around to try and make a picture? Well, that's a WHOLE FREAKING DUNGEON! And it was about three times as big as any Divine Beast. BOTW just doesn't stack up in that regard.
  7. I think I get where you're coming from. However, in my view, this depends on the game. Take Mario Kart 8, the DLC didn't really change the vehicle/character balance. Link wasn't inherently better than anyone else. He had the same stats as Rosalina. On the other hand, Smash Bros. ran into some balancing issues with Corrin's counter, which was a little overpowered (Read: Totally busted and unfair) and Bayonetta's ridiculous (But tons of fun) combo possibilities. These did get addressed in a patch. So, in the long term, the balance wasn't too eskewed. Too soon to say how Zelda will cope, especially considering it's a single player affair. I do miss Broken Bayonetta though.
  8. Lego City: Undercover (Switch)

They're better, but still pretty damn long.
  9. Lego City: Undercover (Switch)

What a rip! How can you charge more for this when it doesn't taste as nice as the others!?
  10. Switch flaws... Problem or not?

Dude, you need to get with the times! Curved screens are where it's at!
  11. Boss Keys - Zelda dungeon video analysis

For what it's worth, I really do like Spirit Tracks. Yes, even the train bits. The game was just such a joy to play. Has one of the best Zeldas in it as well. Phantom Hourglass is pretty good as well. But I tried replaying it on the WiiU VC and I just got fed up on my 3rd trip to Temple of the Ocean King. I hate forced Stealth in Zelda games. Despise it, loath it, and anything else a Theasaurus can throw at it. Not only that, it's repetitive forced stealth! I'd rather chew sheet metal!

Chrono Trigger is definitely on the easy side when it comes to RPG's. There's pretty much only one boss that might require some strategy. And it's not the final one. Imaginary points to whoever guesses which one I'm thinking of. Any RPG Fan should play it though. Battle system works really well, every party member has character and are useful in battles. (That's a rarity) The soundtrack is gorgeous and the pacing is tip-top. Story is nice and fun too. Some cool twists and "what it's" if you go around doing everything.
  13. But that game's a Playstation exclusive. Why would they look there?
  14. No! That's impossible! Seriously though, why was this thread made in the first place?

Geez, you lot are making me want to play it as well. I did enjoy Mega Man 2, but found Mega Man 3 a bit too frustrating for my tastes.
  16. I've had this music stuck in my head for the past 2 weeks. It's the soundtrack of my slow but steady descent into insanity.

Who fancies a quickie? I sure do. You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse Super Mario Land is a 2D Mario Platformer that came out on the Game Boy in 1990. Funny fact, amazingly, it sold more than Super Mario Bros. 3. How do I sum up this game? Oh, I know! Super Mario Land is weird. And with that...
  18. Hyrule Field. Funny thing is, it was the second memory I found. Totally stumbled on it by accident! There's a guy in a nearby stable that tells you exactly where it is though. This is how I always kill Gaurdians. Not that many at once though! Why waste perfectly good weapons?
  19. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Funny that you mentioned that, because the 4th move my Seismitoad has is Ice Punch. (OR/AS Move Tutor only, unfortunately) It really needed a counter to Grass Pokemon that resist Poison Jab, also hits Dragon, Flying and Ground pretty hard too. Assault Vest was the item I used. 120-ish Defense and 180-ish Sp. Def at Lv. 50 is very nice to have on a Pokemon with only one weakness. (albeit, a very devastating Grass Weakness) No downsides as well. Finally, Poison Touch is a great ability. 30% chance of poisoning with every contact move. With Poison Jab, I think it stacks to 51%. (Feel free to correct me, @Serebii) I like those odds. I ruined a lot of tanks in the Battle Tree, thanks to that. It's also a really funny middle finger to use Drain Punch, steal their HP and then Poison them. Hey, a win's a win! Wow, you're the first person I've seen use a Z-Status move! That's a bit sad it took that long for me to find one. And that Baneful Bunker was perfectly timed! If that was a Smash Bros. manuever, it'd be this. Very expertly done! Kudos! I don't think my go-to team would stand a chance. I need to make a doubles team that doesn't suck. Nothing says "I've hacked my Pokemon" quite like a team of nothing but Shinies, huh? Also, who uses Kantonian Raichu anymore? I mean, seriously. Got a good laugh at the double KO though. Massive woopsies on both sides there! The Earthquake reveal was pretty well done. Gotta give RI credit there. Not for his name though, It's a stupid name. Pheromosa might just be the most unnecessarily powerful Pokemon ever though. Pretty much the biggest reason I run an Alolan Marowak. Bait it to use High Jump Kick, switch to Marowak. Burst out laughing. Works every time. Kinda like running a Speedy Groudon, using it to bait a Kyogre switch, then smacking it with Thunder Punch. Hilarious.
  20. Pokémon Sun/Moon

Taking my old Mega Pidgeot for a spin. (Pidgeotite and Steelixite is available for those who did the Competition now) and well, this happened. 5H8G-WWWW-WWW6-BZY2 EDIT: That Mega Pidgeot team (Infernape and Seismitoad made up the other two) took me surprisingly far. Managed to beat Cynthia at Battle 20, then I smacked Anabel at Battle 40! GD3G-WWWW-WWW6-BQJ3 "I could do this! I've got a chance! Miracles could happen!" Then Battle 42... Rotom used Thunder. Critical Hit! Now excuse me while I go cry in the corner...
  21. Splatoon 2

    Now wash your hand.
  22. You can even stand on his hand while he's snoozing and he'll helpfully lift you on to his stomach if you wait long enough. Or climb a tree and use the paraglider to slowly lower yourself on to his stomach. Just don't drop. That's probably the biggest thing I like about this game. Most of the time, there's more than one solution to a problem.
