One of my mates picked up a 3DS XL with MH on Friday as part of GAME's digi deal with the free games, gutted as he could have had an extra game for free! However where he misses out, my new XL a month today should come in very handy for me!

I was looking forward to coming on here to boast about completing the game this morning, I was at 98% and then

SuperTed on the Amstrad CPC464. Me and my brother had to physically leave the room for 30 minutes or it wouldn't load up. Absolute nonsense, but whenever we sat there in would always crash! So off we went for 30 minutes, then came back ready for our quest to save poor old Spotty I am house sitting for my girlfriend from Monday for a week, started this game a few weeks back but have saved it for this coming week, can't wait to get stuck in and spend some quality time with it! (as well my girlfriends cat, which I'm looking after. Refrain from jokes please...)

Highly likely I reckon, quite a few games/characters getting the LE treatment recently! Dangerous game though, for my upgrade to XL have just asked for the black and silver model, as I know too well if I wait for a LE one I will then want a different one and change my mind (see Animal Crossing one...and then they show off the Luigi one) and up never getting one...or getting THEM ALL

Ok cool thanks for that, so any eshop games etc that I have (which are all saved to my memory card) will need to be transfered across to a new memory card via a computer for all my progress in games to still be there? Am thinking mainly of AC in all of this. Hmm. I might get the memory card soon then, then after AC is released when I head home for a weekend will use the parents computer to transfer my data across from the 2GB card I have now onto a new one, ready for my XL! (not that anyone really needed to know that last bit...)

On the subject of memory and downloading games, just wonder if anyone could clarify this for me please... So I will be getting AC through the 'so many games' promotion as a download to my console. I currently have a normal 3DS, however early July will be getting an XL, which I plan to buy a 16/32GB memory card for. When I do the system transfer from normal to XL, will it transfer all my saved game content over from AC as well, so all my village progress and things like that? I'm sure that doing a system transfer would allow me to re download the title (and my other eshop and VC titles) but would it let me pick up where I left off in the game? I have no means to copy data from my 2GB memory card (that came with the console) onto a new one, so that isn't an option...and want to pick up the zelda VC games just released, but don't want to lose any progress on them either so had planned to wait for the XL before downloading them. This may seem a simple question but I've managed to muddle myself thinking about it, any help would be greatly appreciated!

First thing I want to hear at e3 is clarity from Microsoft. I mean the conference was all about 'entertainment' or whatever, which wasn't great for gamers but there you go, that's what they wanted. But the absolute information clusterfuck that occured after was terrible, so we need cold hard facts about this system and it's policy on the pre owned games, backwards gamers, sorry, backwards compatibility and a price point, which I agree I can't see being below £400 personally, certainly not a premium model. I have no great affinity with Sony apart from admiring them from afar, so I too hope that they don't go fingering, fisting or whatever else tickles their fancy with EA. Although I think they may be priced at £400 or so too, if not higher.

Only watched the first one, Brilliant! Especially liked the anecdote about the Banjo head, and the fact that the 'Barns' were so competitive against each other, which was the reason why Rare games were so good back in the day, they all wanted to out do each other!! 3 men pissed up rambling about a game they created, who knew it would be so interesting!

Must be something in the Oxford water, great talkers...when you get us talking! Although I never used it for overcoming any fears with the ladies of the world, I have found the book "Feel the fear and do it anyway" brilliant for overcoming quite a few issues, for me especially to do with acting. You may have come across it @Serebii, if not hopefully it could help with any social issues you have, and prove as enlightening to you as it did me!

Do you drink at all @Serebii? If so, what sort of drunk are you, does it make things better or worse? A terrible suggestion I know, but I became a different person when drunk, completely out of my shell and happy as larry, used to chat up girls all the time, no fear and just always used to get up to crazy stuff that made girls laugh (possibly at me), but still managed to charm them! A cliche, but that's got to be worth a shot if you are a drinker!

I never usually get involved in this thread, but felt compelled after reading this and having a browse through previous pages, if only becuase this is exactly like me, what I used to be like and still am to a degree! In terms of women, you have to take the pressure of yourself completely by not thinking romantically at all. Regardless if it's the hottest woman you have ever seen or not, you're not interested in her like that at all. Just talk to her. However this is my problem, once I get talking I can be quite the charmer (if I do say so...) BUT I can't get talking. I just can't start a conversation at all. So you need a wingman, someone who can get the conversation started and flowing, and which you can chip into every so often (without being creepy) with some witty comments here and there, some women like that outgoing, big personality, others like someone who is a bit quieter and brooding! I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years almost, I met her at drama school. Put me on a stage and I'm in my element, cock sure and confident in my abilities. How did I woo her? By sending her a facebook message after 3 weeks of being at the same school without talking to her ONCE! Because I was too scared incase she wasn't interested. So don't rule that out if you already know someone you like but haven't spoken to or contacted properly, I sent her a friendly message on Facebook, and it gave me an 'in', so next time I saw her we smiled about it, started chatting, and it went from there. I was at a comedy gig last night to watch, and after the plan was to chat with the MC with a view to sort some gigs out. Our manager was there, he did all the talking, then the MC came and said hi to me and I just said hi back...and that was it. Froze up. He probably thought I was an arrogant prick, in truth I just couldn't think of anything witty or amusing to make a good impression, so I said nothing. Get me up on the stage though and I'm billy big time. So you HAVE to use your pokemon background and success in conversation. Because then you are in your element, on your stage and I bet you become so much more interesting and animated and attractive. Women like to know what your passion is and, if they don't know what the hell a pokemon is, they like to know you're a success, which you are! I may have re tread some familiar ground here, and it certainly isn't as simple as I have said, but you need: -To take the pressure off yourself by not looking -A wingman -To talk about your passion and successful job which involves Pokemon. And finally find peace with yourself. It will take time but when you find yourself attractive, others will too

My favourite villager who I never had was Nosegay from the GC version. Must have imported the game with 5 mates from USA, none of us ever had him in our village, but the fact he existed as almost this mythological character was enough! My GF asked me what I wanted for my birthday today, I glibly replied a 3DS XL...she put it straight in the amazon shopping basket! Boom! Now got to convince her to let me have it a month early for AC...

What a thrilling evening! Really enjoyed the concert and, like @Dcubed, finished off all my puzzle pieces too thought OOT, MM and WW were the strongest, but that's because I know them so well:) not sure i got any of your guys street passes though, but then my 3DS was manic!
