  1. Bit concerned that on occassion when trying to boot it up I get disk read errors

Ironic...dont get it for Brawl but do for this lol

My game has frozen a few times while on searching for players on wi-fi, also I had the black screen with the error message but all I did was load the game up again and it worked.

  2. They really should of replaced the Bullet bill and or blue shell with the new items rather than add them on top, it feels cheap at times with all these items.

Still it's the best Mario Kart since the DS version much better than Double Dash and maybe Mario Kart 64, I'm glad the ditched the gimmicky two person per kart thing too.

  3. I'm getting used to the wii wheel now I was turning too sharply but the only thing doing my head in is how the AI cheats while you're in first place with the blue shell and lightning strike simultaneously hitting you along with red shells on the final lap..

  4. I just tried it online and it's suprisingly lag free with 12 players on the same track, the fact you can choose the play Europeans only is a big factor.

It's so much smoother than Brawl even with Friend Codes.

  5. I recommend Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey over Eternal Sonata by miles.

Blue Dragon is unfairly bashed with the best gameplay of the three plus it has no damn random encounters except the storyline is simple. You need to play beyond the first hour to get to grips with the job/skills system and battle system with the Charge meter letting you decide the order of turns and power of all attacks. Also you either love or hate Akira Toriyama's art style in the game.

Lost Odyssey is alright the storyline is average there is more storyline than in Blue Dragon but it's often overshadowed by a set of short stories that you can read each time you sleep in a inn, it's written seperately by famous Japanese novelist Kiyoshi Shigematsu.

It's more old school but still enjoyable with simple Attack, Skills, Magic and defend commands but no summons and special attacks.

Both are TURN BASED RPG's and have great soundtracks from Nobou Uematsu.

  6. jeepers.. just played free for all on that level with the large building and containers.. lot something.. i think i was the only one who didnt have the martyrdom perk activated.. i was tempted to quit but usually play to the end.. even with crap like this.. they should remove that stupid perk.. the inside of the building was just one continous explosion

That happens alot in headquarters, I've been playing Hardcore TDM lately with less of that happening but it has more people with last stand now.

  7. I'm still not happy with the respawning, sometimes I still respawn in front of the other team or I just run out for a second and die straight away.

Hardcore TDM is a new favourite of mine now, it's a nice break from the spray and pray gametypes. I'm avoiding Headquarters from now on as that seems to be biased towards one team or the other depending on where they spawn.

  8. Sigh.. PES 2008 is complete shit even many other hardcore PES fans admit that (apart from those clutching at straws), at least last year Fifa 08 came out on top in terms of everything (gameplay, graphics and sound well apart from player models). Konami have alot of work to do to make PES 09 a big improvement for next gen.
