The game was very tentative but Chelsea/ski dominated in midfield we didn't look in control even when we scored and after.
Wenger got his tactics and lineup wrong if it worked out we would be praising him but he didn't it was men vs boys today. Fabianski was terribly shaky too but our defending was also poor, some fans were saying Silvestre would be fine but he showed how poor a defender he is and Eboue well I can't say anything positive about him.
Most of the goals came from out of nothing.

Damn Star ocean and Vesperia in the same month! THANK you Atari no thank you to Namco.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirits Tracks is still a Zelda game the train is the new mode of transport it seems, plus you can create and control enemies.
I didn't expect much it's only GDC no big announcements is no big suprise.

With Motion Plus it sounds incredible they've programmed it so it picks up every angle and direction even the difference between Flat, Top spin and Slice perfectly. It will probably take time to master but it will feel thrilling once you have.
Without Motion Plus it seems more timing based the direction you hit the ball while it still detects the amount of power you put into it, while it still detects the difference between the different shots I don't think it will work quite as well without it.
P.S The ball does look out of proportion with the court and players models..

One year older I'm not getting any younger .... I mean woohoo still only 24
Cheers to you all I'll try to post more often when I can if I'm not tired or busy.

Maybe the odds increase later on in the game I dunno? You should have Liquid Metal Slimes by that time but they're equally as hard to recruit, apparently it's 1/256 or 0.39% chance of them joining.
I got lucky with that but I have awful luck in the casino.

I'm finding it enjoyable not a bad game but it's not great either.
Action and Co-op fans will love it but this isn't the Resident Evil we know, it feels like a spin off from Resident Evil 4 while Dead Space feels like a proper evolution from Resident Evil 4 except it's in space.
RE4 was very action(y) but you were alone for most of the game and even with Ashley she would stay out the way and she didn't use weapons so she couldn't waste ammo, the atmosphere isolated in a creepy Spanish Village felt great. The Co-op focus was always going to make RE5 twice as action packed and the atmosphere totally different.
Controls issues are there it isn't that BAD but it is a problem and the real Time inventory is too fiddly for my liking it makes sense for co-op but not in single player. The real time inventory was one of my major gripes in Dead Space also to have it in another game is annoying.

Super Red Bar!
@Ren of Heavens: Excite Truck is only 2 player as well.
Nah it's all about the SUPER SANDWICH! PIE FACE!
Seriously though the mini games seem out of place and throwing pies seems rather pointless compared to those mad tricks.

Hmmmm i don't know what to think it looks crazy, whacky and very bizarre.
Graphically it looks decent.

Steam is having a free play weekend for UT3 this weekend (duh) it's also £8.39 now instead of £13.99.
It might take a while to download though as the servers are being overloaded.

Why can´we just get shit at the right time....
So it´s both Vesperia and Star Ocean this summer for us.
Well apparently Vesperia is due out "Second half" of this year which is pretty confusing that it could well be as late summer/autumn (August)
I'm gutted and frustrated about the Star Ocean delay, S-E have been so good with their simultaneous releases lately it's a real let down from them when you thought they gave a damn about Europe, I'm tired of being treated to lengthy delays.
2 months from the US release originally wasn't too bad but 4 months is quite ridiculous.

It's IGN and Matt so I'm not sure if it's actually as bad as they say it is.
The best thing to do as usual is to Buy or Rent it and play it for yourself or read user opinions.

This is directly off Nintendo Power's preview section.
If you read this through, it says it started off with trucks but it didn't feel right because it has more stunts and tricks so they changed it to bots..

Slime Knight's are awesome early on maybe too awesome cos it felt a bit easy once you've levelled it up it's strong ally to have. I think I used to use a Rotten Apple aswell and then [spoiler=]Harry
What I did when I got the Metal Slime is got the Edge Boomerang which attacks multiple enemies what's great about the Metal Slimes aswell as the high defense they have very high AGILITY so they usually attack first, it makes the constant random encounters a bit more tolerable and shorter.
Those Metal Slimes are in groups in the cave in [spoiler=]Whealbrook
when you're an adult, I got mine in 1 or 2 random enounters with them after leaving my DS on standby overnight.
-
I got a Cure Slime (which is hard to recruit) but soon afterwards I married Nera and realised she's a healer too. My party is Hero, Nera, [spoiler=]Saber
and Metal Slime the metal Slime is unstoppable with it's huge defense stat.
By the way make sure you buy and check the Big Book of Beasts cos that tells you which Monsters are recruitable and which are easiest/hardest to recruit.
Revisiting the towns and using the Party Talk feature is fun to see how your Human Party members react to what the NPC's say.Try Visiting the Castle with Bianca where earlier in the game you defeated the ghosts with her, alot of her comments are hilarious.

90% is a bit too high it's a enjoyable game but it's flawed.
I love the world, the battles (minus the random encounters every few seconds) the music and the Party Talk but everything else seems rather plain and repetitive. For example the characters have plenty of personality thanks to the inclusion of party talk but they seem rushed and undeveloped and monster recruiting seems completely random when they choose to join your group and party talk becomes useless with a whole group of monsters with one liners. So far I think I prefer the way Chapters of the Chosen was presented through several chapters as playing as the different heroes was interesting (well apart from the final two chapters)
I don't blame the game though because it's old school down to the core and it came out way before Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana etc
"I'm up to collecting the rings for Nera's dad after fetching that Zoom ingredient for that Professor"

I've been reading that DQV has party talk in it unlike DQ IV which adds some character interaction.

Nope it is region locked you'll have to wait for Scamco or someone else to bring it over here.

Am I the only one on N-E that doesn't really like Eternal Sonata? Seems like it
I agree I thought the story and characters were absolutely dire and the dialogue..... the dialogue is so bad that it made me cringe almost everytime a cutscene started.
It has great art design and soundtrack and the gameplay is okay but a bit repetitive.
A enjoyable JRPG for me is one that has a balance of both good story/characters and gameplay or good gameplay alone but ES doesn't really excel in either.

Will motion plus be out by the time this is out? It's highly doubtful right now so this might well be a disappointment with EA tennis later this year which WILL be using motion plus.
I might just stick with the 360 version for the Hi Def Ivanovic player model but hopefully we'll know for sure a month or two before it's released.

I don't quite understand what you mean but you can push forward on the left analog stick while taking the free kick to take a more powerful free kick.

The update was meant to fix the No HDMI audio bug with monitors and some TV's as far as I know I'm not sure if there's any other fixes or changes.

Far Cry 2, £17.99
The Force Unleashed, £17.99
Midnight Club: LA, £17.99
The Last Remnant, £17.99
GTAIV, £17.99
Shawn White, £17.99
Thanks for that I would've missed out on that great deal for The Last Remnant now there's no excuse for not trying it out at least. : peace:
I've heard good things about it despite the poor reviews, Gametrailers gave it a 8.0 and they're usually spot on.
Also I personally enjoyed Infinite Undiscovery despite some of the reviews, this gen of JRPG's have had some unfair reviews so far.

It's 576i 50hz from what I've heard, it's a shame we are getting a gimped version again but it is WIDESCREEN though. It sounds like a great game otherwise but I can't play it as I hae a VGA Cable
