You've got to remember the 360 is in it's second year. Plus Nintendo shouldn't be chuking out games left right and centre now because the Wii isn't really readily available yet. When the sales start to level more you bring out the games to bigger market and stimulate more sales of the system itself. You've got to remember it's all about the money.

I thought it was just a press event like Capcom did a couple of days ago. I think it was Capcom anyway. Probably just show off the games coming this year for the press get there mags sorted for the Christmas rush. I wonder when Nintendo wil show Brawl. Didn't Nintendo used to do the whole Spaceworld event in October. They did that Pokemon roadshow in Japan around that time last year.

Thanks S.C.G. and cube. I don't hook up my systems to a surround sound system so I should be fine with it. I think I'll go with the offical one, I'm just anal about things like that. wallet am cry

Yes I've checked the manual and the TV it's self and the only coloured imputs are the red, white and yellow ones on the side of the TV. Thanks for clearing it up S.C.G. When I checked the manual it only showed where to hook the PS1 up. I guess my TV is abit old! Looks like I'll be selling the component cables I bought. I'll put up a thread in the private sale section. So would getting a VGA cable improve my picture over the red, white and yellow imput cables I'm currently using? EDIT: sorry just checked the Wii thread and saw that the RGB cable is the best cable available to me. But could someone clear up a fact for me. If I use the RGB cable am I only able to get mono sound? Plus I've heard the RGB cable doesn't support widescreen, is this true? thanks for all the info guys and gals, very much appreciated.

You mean 5 holes? My TV only has 3 that I can see. Would they be on the back of the TV?

Really geez. I suppose that is too be expected with only 1 mil being sold in the uk and the Wii making it redundent. I suppose I could make it into a fancy bag !

I always said to myself when Super Metroid touches down on the VC I would get a Wii and with my selling my Leeds fest ticket I finally have the cash. Anywhere know of any ggod deals? I'd like to buy one instore so I can get some cash for my Gamecube but if online is best it doesn't matter too much.

I thought it was abit of anticlimax at the end. I thought it'd be more like the fight we saw in the future with them both. I never thought about Peter flying up there by himself. I was just wondering how do people connect their 360 to their surround sound system? Do you use the wires that come with the system or do you have to buy seperate ones? Sorry I have lost my instuction manual for my HiFi. A double sorry is this thread is in the wrong place. Thanks

I can't believe it. I was playing gears online and my 360, totally out of the blue, just shut off and them 3 quadrants flashed their evil hate towards me. I swear to god, it nearly went through the living room window. I blame the NYKO fan thing that welded itself to the 360. Now it totally won't work, at all. I've been on microsoft's website and tried doing what it says but it still just sits there dead. Has anyone got any suggestions? I'm at a total loss

Wow thanks for the advice Smiter. Yeah it helps alot. I think I'd prefer the real time battles of FFXII and it seems as though the game has made quite the impression on you. The gambit thing also sounds quite interesting.

I haven't played a final fantasy game before and I've just got a PS2 so I want to know whick game you think I shuld get first? There is no story progression between the numbered games are there?

Not likely, a microsoft said only a couple of days ago that he hasn't got a clue when the non-us marketplaces will open up.
