It was coming up in What You Listening To? Both the Now Playing and Last.fm things don't show if members don't enter the info, so its not a must. Just a nice thing to get make us know each other better (or as I said to Flinky, find everyone's guilty pleasures). If you don't like it its always open for discussion. Type in what you're playing and it appears on the left. And nope, the c-word is censored as a rule, there are no exceptions to rules in the case of programming. Or umm maybe not. I should have really looked into it more. Fixed now ^_^

Right, with thanks to Flinky and Dabooker, we now have a smaller one on the left, but in your profile its the normal one. The smaller one obviously can't display as much info (eg it only says "Dashboard Confessional") but nothing in life is perfect eh? Hows everyone feel about that.

The now playing thing works, theres a box in quick edit, new reply and new thread, so basically anytime you post you can do it.

I must have good eye sight, I can read it fine. Will keep the poll open for a bit longer though.

(kinda related but there is a way of having a "what you listening to" on every post, you type it in when you reply and it appears on the left with Location et al. Would that be of interest to anyone - even if it renders this thread obsolete)

Yeah looking into it, and this should have been posted elsewhere :p Just found out vB have removed it from the new upgrade, not sure why. Will try and find a hack that does the same tomorrow.

Im not sure what you're average member can and can't see but with the new forum upgrade admins and mods can give "infractions". If anyone gets one don't send me or any other admins PMs of despair. It doesn't mean you're being banned. Its just a bit of finger wagging and they do expire (ten days is the default). Its more of a way of letting you know what is and isn't appropriate so we can all live in peace. : peace:

That was a script for 3.5x, we're now on 3.6x. Im trying to find a new one but I do have a life to work around. And the database error, seeing as you're the only one, hmm. Ill look into it. Right I've updated the "tables" as they're called, that normally fixes it when its happening en masse. Let me know how you get on and I'll look into it after work.

There was something in MCV about that a few weeks ago, some indie shops were complaining the discs are really brittle. Microsoft said to contact them if it happens.

Yeah but people do minor things that we normally just PM saying "that wasn't on." This PMs for us, plus all mods and admins can see the list of whose been infractioned. So its more for our benefit anyway.

Mice Parade - Headphoneland Could be wrong (im not so good with instruments) but it sounds like it starts with a xylophone mellowly making a tune thats repeated throughout, with other stuff joining in. A soft, sombre instrumental piece.

Developers will be (and have been) saying "Oh its too different, we don't want to develop for that" (Hello, people? Use the classic controller or Cube controller then!). Or gamers saying "Thats too weird." "Thats stupid." "Thats a TV remote not a controller."

They just build up. If you obviously get a substantial number (we don't have a set amount) you'll be banned, but I doubt anyway will be banned that way. Most of the people we ban deserve to be banned the moment they join.
