  1. Animal Crossing: Lets Go to the City

I agree with you dazzybee. The people here who say they are happy with the game are absolutely justified to have there opinion. But chances are if they'd just made that little bit extra effort then you'd be more happy and we'd have more people interested in it. The fact that many people are saying 'I don't care - I'll still buy it' is the kind of attitude that video game companies love as it means they need to put in as minimal effort as possible. NGamer ages ago did a feature all about how they'd do another Animal Crossing game and it was beautiful and really exciting - and totally not impossible.
  2. Animal Crossing: Lets Go to the City

But surely that's like watching the trailer for Mario Galaxy for the first time and saying 'This games looks awesome!' I think this game looks a little bit depressing. I mean, Animal Crossing is great and no doubt this will be good but just imagine what they could have done with it. With such a small gaming world they could have really made this something special - they've been talking about it since 2006 but looks like they started making it a week ago.
  3. Hi, I'm in urgent need of the Tingle themed Banner that N-Europe had a few days/weeks ago on. If anyone can help I would be very, very grateful.
  4. I think they used to be, and that is what I was expecting, but I think the Tingle one has properly gone.
  5. I hope you like it. (Contains mild language!) http://www.moon-town.co.uk/soulcalibur.mp3 The upcoming Wii game Soul Calibur: Legends will tell the full story about Siegfried turning into Knightmare. Well, there is no need to play that game, because here is the full story, in song. The lyrics: Oh Siggy Siggy, You stupid piggy, you've gone and picked up the Soul Blade. You've turned into Knightmare, Lost all your shite hare, And all your good looks will now fade. Your father is dead, Your eyes are now red, you've been kicked out of Venice City! Saddle up on your stead, You're no longer Siegfried and reflect on your life being so shitty. Opinions? I want to write one about Petey Piranha and Wesker from Resident Evil.
  6. My Song About Soul Calibur

  8. My Song About Soul Calibur

Thank you. The song was meant to sound pretty stupid.
  9. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)

I found this on the internet at a site I go to. Done by a girl named Tanooki. She says it isn't what she wants, nor really thinks, but wanted to make a character select screen that could be discussed in topics like this. If a square has two characters in it, it means they can transform (Zelda, Samus, Ganondorf, Bowser Jr. Vaati). The only characters that have been removed are Roy, Young Link, Pichu and Dr. Mario. She said that Ganondorf, Lyn (Roy's Replacement) and Falco have different moves. She wanted to get a representative from Nintendo's main franchises. Chibi Robo and Captain Olimar would grow when the match started. Also, in the top right is a Mii, she said a funky idea would be to import your Mii has a character and go on an Adventure/Mission mode and customize the moves from other characters. It's quite a fun list, don't exactly agree with all of it, but what do you think?
  10. Wii Release List

He he. Super Paper Mario looks divine. I really wanna get Eledees. I want to see how expansive the level editor is. Level editors are great, only reason I still play Timesplitters and bought Mario vs. Donkey Kong II
  11. Doctor Who

I loved the episode and all this series. Much better than Series 2.
  12. Write For N-Europe!

I would love to do a weekly web comic for you guys! I already do a Doctor Who themed one.
  13. Wii Release List

Argh! When is Eledees coming out?!?! It's release date is pushed back every time I check!
  14. Ocarina of Time 2D creator died

Exactly like me. This is low. I remember in an issue of N-Gamer, they said how the game wasn't real. Those screen shots could have been easily made on paint, and I guess that he didn't expect his lie would become so huge. He couldn't tell those hundreds of people on his forum that it was faked, so ... he made them pity him instead.
  15. Hot Fuzz

I went to the Premier at Wells, the city it was filmed in (although they made it look like a town) and got to see Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright (who all apart from Nick grew up in Wells and Ed lives here). I thought it was sublime. Truely amazing. Everyone says that it is slow at the start, but since it was announced, they said how two thirds of the movie is a murder investigation and the final part is action and I thought it all worked well. This is chiefly comedy, not an action movie, and so you have to admire the fact that they didn't just do endless fights. The day after the premier the three of them were filming some stuff from the extras on the DVD going around Wells, and funnily enough, today, in the local magazine, it said that 3 swans had escaped from the castle area. OMG, for everyone it must have been amazing to see a great film, but me and my mates, it was like a dream come true seeing our street being blown apart. BTW, I know nobody with a West County accent.
  16. Oi! Robot I know a little robot. He was built in the Evil Robot Company. He was meant to be the first robot built with ordinary intelligence. A robot, with the same intelligence as your average man. However, the scientist was disappointed with his creation, not knowing how dumb the average man is, and tossed him on the scrap heap. There, the robot (who named himself Oi, after the initials of Ordinary Intelligence on his back) met a giant monster called Raoul. I turned it into a webcomic. It started all drawn and scanned in. There was then a one off origin comic, and now I have gone into a flash cartoon style look and have started again. Issue 4 "Change" Issue 5 "Costume" I will update this topic every so often. On Wednesdays, the comic is first shown on my forum. On Thursdays, it is show on my site, and then on Saturday, I post it anywhere else I am (like on DeviantART and on forums).
  17. Oi! Robot Weekly WebComic

    Issue 8 "Safety"
  18. Zelda WW vs Zelda TP vs OoT

Seconded. I loved Wind Wakers plot, the whole idea that it is set hundreds of years after the others and that Hyrule is completly gone, just a legend of zelda. It fealt like a great world which I am glad we will be seeing again in Phantom Hourglass. But then I also loved Twilight Princess. Although Zelda games share many aspects (items, bosses, dungeons, battles) they all feel so totally different. I don't think OOT and TP feel that much the same because they have so many differences that TP feels very much like a different beast...giggle.
  19. Oi! Robot Weekly WebComic

Video reviews as in what? Anyway, PM me when that site comes out. My site which will house the Oi Robot comics, my cartoons, videos, games, stories, articles, reviews and radio shows will come out soon. And another Oi comic soon, sorry, I am kinda in the middle of some exams so may be a little longer then I just said.
  20. At the moment that we saw that the Wii has its own system-specific friend code, we breathed a sigh of relief. A sixteen digit code is still a completely unwieldy username, but at least we didn’t need one for each game. Right? Wrong. Pokemon Battle Revolution, the first Wii online game, hit Japanese stores last Thursday. What did gamers find when they tried to go online? They found a new twelve digit friend code and a brand new list to add codes for this one game. It looks like Nintendo has learned absolutely nothing from the sometimes annoying experience of online DS titles. To make matters worse, you still can’t exchange friend codes in game. You need to send each other codes in real life. "Strangely, despite the Wii hardware having its own friend list, Battle Revolution uses its own, independent friend list. Each game includes a unique 12-digit friend code, different from your Wii system number. To create a friend, both sides have to input the other's code. How you actually go about exchanging these codes is a mystery, as the information is not included on your battle pass. Once again, I presume Nintendo wants you to only exchange codes with your real life friends." Link: http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/750/750994p1.html However, as PBR is "diamond and pearl battles in 3D", there is a chance PBR uses an infrastructure almost identical to DS games. We will have to wait till another Wi Fi game comes out to clarify this.
  21. Oi! Robot Weekly WebComic

BUMP and update and sorry to double post. I mean no harm. Here are the issues which are outstanding (as in I haven't posted. You can choose how good they are...). Issue 6 "Hallows" Issue 7 "Noel" and issue 8 "safety" will be out shortly.
  22. Rate the Above Poster's Avatar and Signature

Avatar to Sig comparison is good. Nice fond, and hylian. Very Wind Waker. Avatar a tad grainy though. And would look really good if the avatar had the white background taken away. 8/10
  23. I'd feel ripped off if the game could only have gamecube and classic controls.
