darksnowman Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 Evening all, Last weekend I set up a BT Hub in me house, I had some problems installing (but thats to be expected, eh) but once I got it going its been ok all week until this afternoon. The problem seems to be that my computer wasnt recognisig the USB Device. I tried reinstalling the BT stuff... but to no avail::shrug: there was no life in the thing at all. Eventually I just plugged the hub out when the computer was shut down, left it a minute or two and put it back on again. I let the lights settle down and with the computer still off I tested the connection with me DS - it seemed to work. Next I powered up the computer and tried to connect, it said the password for connecting was wrong so I tried the second profile... it worked and here I am. That was a bit of a troublesome time I had, has anyone any ideas what may have happened?? The only thing I did was try to connect my sisters Laptop to the hub, which didnt work either for some reason. Would that have had anything to do with it?
