Stupid PC question...yes I know nothing!

I suck when it comes to using PCs and I ahve a quick question. I put my pc on this morning and the address bar is gone. I have tried going to toolbars and clicking the address bar icon and the tick comes next to it but still no address bar comes up. Im having to go through google to browse the web lol.

Like I said I no nothing about PCs so im assuming the address bar is the one where you type in the web address. Any help guys?

you are on ie? go to view...then toolbars...then address bar. tick it

I done that and address appears at the top right of the screen but no bar appears.

Stop using IE. Get firefox.

lol i was going to say that too :P

 

EDIT: go to view...toolbars....lock the taskbar..untick

then you should be able to move the "address" that appears. then go back and lock it again

Thanks that worked. I also downloaded firefox. Whats the difference between the 2 and can I use both at the same time?

yeah u can use both at the same time. firefox is safer and overall better :P
