dannbrownn Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 Out of the games you mention, don't go with the two ubisoft games, not only do they look bad they are apparently pretty basic on features and that sought of thing Indeed, GT Pro is a remake of the Gamecube version and i believe that Monster truck 4x4 is originally an xbox game. I have decided to get GT Pro anyway, as someone has mentioned through lack of choice, Racing games are the only games i ever really have any skill at! I need something at launch that i stand a chance of beating people i know on! I seperate racing into three main types: Realisitc: NFS, GT Fast: Excite truck, f-zero, wipe out Battle: Mariokart, rollcage, and so on I always like to try and keep a nice mix of one from each category, so with wii i am looking at: Realistic: GT Pro (even though it's cell shaded, i like cell shading!) Fast: Excite Truck Battle: The inevitable MarioKart! Obviously we have got to wait and see what games start coming out next year to really know how good our choices were at this stage. All i know is... I can't wait!
DCK Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Even so, I think Need for Speed Carbon is better than GT Pro. Maybe even much better. Really, GT Pro looks terrible as it was mediocre on GameCube as well...
flameboy Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 yeah GT Pro looks awful i was excited about it at first but then asnt when i realised it was a cube remake.
Guest Stefkov Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 I just cant wait til Excite Truck. I think that will be the killer racing game on the Wii till Mario kart comes out for it. And that would be awesome! 8 players online would rock!

Thats pretty much my view! The raw speed and incredible size of the environments when you are 'catching some serious air' makes it look so good!
Emasher Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 well the zellers package includes excite truck so i'll be getting that in 3 days 4 hours and 25 minutes
flameboy Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Just read the review of Excitetruck on IGN, I think I might hang out for excitetruck as my racing game of choice and get something else at launch, NFS isn't really appealing to me as much as Most Wanted did. to be honest I still havn't completed NFS Underground 2 on my xbox so if I fancy abit of NFS could always go back to that.
