Caris Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 you read it right, i need a firewall. i have Zonelabs at the moment but ive just hooked my bothers Pc to the internet via a network and all the firewalls ive tryed are just blocking it, they dont even have a option to unblock it. Did you connect his computer to your router, or is it physically connected to your computer and getting access to the internet from your computer? Bogbas Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 The easiest option would be to setup the ip of the second pc as trusted zone in the configuration of the firewall. But remember to install a firewall to the other pc also. As if it gets hacked, it's an open door to your pc. I assume you use Internet connection sharing to share the network connection?
