I seem to be getting memory loss and a whirring noise whenever my PC Memory is stretched. eg. When playing CSS/HL2. Can anyone enlighten me towards the solution to this topic?

Could you describe what exactly happens.your hard drive should only really be used when you are loding levels.

This could result in memory loss or could be due to faulty network connections/incorrect hard drive configuration. I checked my HDD config and all seems to be ok..
christophicus Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 that does sound strange and as though it is faulty,are you sure the connections are all in properly and that the jumper at the back is in the right possition?
