DiemetriX Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 My main PC just died. :/ It won't turn on. Probably the main board or something. Most my files where stored on my External hard drive. So I didn't lose anything important. No more fancy Photoshops or anything creative from me anymore. I still have a laptop to use for net browsing. I don't wan't to use money fixing the PC, I need all the money I have right now. *sigh*
MasterYoda Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Welcome to my world. I've been using my Nokia 6630 to browse the forums ever since mine died.
Guest Jordan Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 Diemetrix, is there an LED on your motherboard to show power is going through it? If so, is it on? If its not it could just be the PSU and not the motherboard.
triforce_keeper Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 yhe i thought mine died abit ago but i changed which plug socket it was in and presto! it worked ^^ It seems to do it if i havent used it for about 3 days. So have you tried changing socket?
DiemetriX Posted July 9, 2006 Author Posted July 9, 2006 Hmm... maybe I need to do some more testing.. I gave up way to quick.
