Fierce_LiNk
I have no idea what's happened with my PC sound, but it's just stopped working. It works when i restart the PC, but then it just stops working after 5 or 10 minutes. I've checked all the properties to make sure that it's not on mute or something stupid, but everything appears to be fine. All cables are pushed in alright. Jordan of the Jar! I need thee! dabookerman
I doubt even he will be able to help you with such a vague description of the problem
Fierce_LiNk
I'm starting to think it might be one of the leads or something. I've checked some sound properties and there's nothing that disables the sound or something after a certain amount of time. It's pretty strange how it works when the computer starts up but then cuts out after 10 mins or so.
dabookerman
Speaker problem, thats my diagnosis.
Fierce_LiNk
Helpful, as always. Edit: I restarted my computer about 15 mins ago. The sound is working now, however it seems to be "jumping" from speaker to speaker occassionally. Seems like the lead connecting the speakers is fudged. dabookerman
Yes pretty much, you see, if your speakers are old. then it makes perfect sense, my speakers did the same thing. sound wouldnt randomly cut off if it was a pc fault. there is a way to MAKE SURE OF THAT, try and guess what it is HINT HINT HINT test speakers with something else lololololololol
Fierce_LiNk
Why do you have to act like an arse? Anyway, i think i've figured it out now. I was just miffed at first, but now i'm almost certain its the cables. I thought that i might have overlooked some option or something, aw well. Haden was saying something about downloading updates, but now i think i know what the problem is. This isn't needed now. Locked.
