I honestly don't care, as long as they make a profit, unlike Xbox360 (sold at loss) is doing and release the games I want...

I think Revolution might come in 1st place in japan though, if they play their cards right and throw in lot's of RPG's

I just don't think Crystal Chronicles will impress the Japanese market, even with a DS version and compatiblility.

There's a lot riding on that game I think.

I Wasn't talking about third parties, when you buy a Nintendo console you can only count with nintendo first and second party efforts, all the other games are extra, we might or might not get them, depends on the success of the console, from the ground up, nintendo needs that Camelot RPG and a Fire Emblem in development, with better graphics than the one in GC...

Nintendo needs to get the ball running, remember N64? with mario 64 it secured most of the platforming games for example, the developers follow titles that have install base in the console... Nintendo needs to get her plan right concerning RPG's there's no point in releasing them like 3-4 years after the console launches, they have to define it from the very beggining.

I really don't get when people say they don't care how many systems Nintendo sells...

You guys do realize that the fewer consoles that people buy, the LESS amount of games the system gets, right? And the shorter the amount of time (and less money) Nintendo will spend supporting it.

Had the GCN been a smash hit, it could have had TEN TIMES the number of games it has now.

That said, I think the Revolution is in a position to do VERY well, and it brings joy to my heart that it seems that most developers will be bringing something to the system that you won't find anywhere else. There'll be a reason to own the Rev, no matter how good your PC setup is, or whether you have a PS3 or Xbox 360 or all of the above.

There's no excuse now people! None! Nada! Zip! Nil poi!

yeah, but I wouldn't have ten times the titles I have now...

The thing is not that I don't care, it's that it is not why I buy a Nintendo console the first place, 95% of the titles I want will always be exclusive, the rest is like I said, a Extra, but when you buy the console it's for Nintendo games, I'm not gonna buy a Revo on launch because of the third party games for sure.

But yeah every third party is welcomed and all, but that's nintendo's job, I just want the best games, and to achieve that goal the games Gamecube recieved this generation were enough for me.

As you said Nintendo has a great chance now, they'll be stupid if they don't use it well and I wish them success but all I can do for them is buy their products, and that's what I intend to do...

back when you started in gaming you didn't care about these things, just about the games, that's the way everybody should be.

almost every analysts report into next gen console sales puts revo in 3rd, i think it was PS3 with 150 million sales overall, 360 with 60 million sales, and revo with 18 million sales.
