dan-likes-trees Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Leonard Cohen has died, aged 82. Yet more sad news in an endlessly depressing year..! I highly recommend a listen to his latest album, You Want it Darker, which is an incredible record, even more potent in it's existential content in hindsight of this news. Reminds me of Bowie's Blackstar from earlier this year in tone. To my mind, his music only got better and deeper as his voice got lower, lower and more gravely. A true legend.

While I've only ever listened to some of his music, you only need hear one track of his to demonstrate the power of his performances. I will more than likely check out more of his music, not right now to jump on the bandwagon so to speak - which is certain to happen - but in the near future.
