nekunando Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Virtua Tennis 2009 arrived for Wii today! First impressions have not been good, not least being forced to hold the Wii Remote differently, and less comfortably, to other tennis games I haven't played for long but it's making Grand Slam Tennis seem a lot better..
nekunando Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) As some of you may have noticed, I finally purchased Wii Sports Club at the weekend I should totally have bought it last year as the price is still exactly the same and I could hae been enjoying it all this time but at least I have it now Wii Sports Club Tennis is way more fun than Grand Slam Tennis or Virtua Tennis 2009 so I almost wish I had just got it in the first place. I may sell the others, now I feel like every single shot is a direct result of when and how I've swung the Wii Remote, unlike the Wii titles I just mentioned. That feeling is essential and, thankfully, Wii Sports Club has it It's not hugely different to the original Wii Sports version though the ability to choose whether you go with forehand or backhand definitely adds an extra layer to the game, as do the other subtle improvements to the controls. I just hope I don't find it difficult to go back to the original Edited July 27, 2015 by nekunando
