Ronnie Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 (edited) As someone who had no idea what Skylanders was before today, I had a blast playing the PS4 version at Eurogamer today. Don't care about the toys, but the platforming, visuals, art style etc really appeal to me. Surprised to not see a thread for this anywhere seeing as it's out in a couple of weeks. Anyone looking forward to it, or is it a child's game and I should grow up? Again, speaking as someone who has no clue about the franchise. V. Amoleo Posted November 24, 2013 Share Posted November 24, 2013 I don't suppose anybody knows if the Wii Swap Force Portal of Power works with the Xbox 360 Giants game, do they? My nephew wants me to get him Skylanders Giants on the Xbox 360 for Christmas while his parents are getting him Swap Force on the Wii. So I'm trying to figure out if I need to buy the starter pack or just the booster. The only information I've found on the internet about compatibility is completely wrong. It states that the PC portal only works on the PC/360 but it's the portal I use for my Wii U version of Giants. As far as I can tell all of the portals seem to be exactly the same when plugged in over USB. So I think I only need to get the Booster but was wondering if anybody here could confirm it either way.
