This was the announcement Namco were teasing for the past few days.

 

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle is a fighting game produced by Namco Bandai Games for the Playstation 3. Every main character from Part 1 through 8 of the series will be playable. The game format is a battle between the various main characters. Hence all star battle.

 

There will also be new anime series launching for it in the fall.

I doubt it. Alot of anime fighting games have an 'All Star' moniker on the end of their names.

 

Seems like a standard fighter buuuut it is made by the same guys that make the naruto ultimate ninja storm games so will generally follow this quietly as this is one of the more...unique anime series.
