tapedeck Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Hi guys...thought I'd start here! I've just bought a Chimney Sweep business and we are a traditional business who does it the old fashioned way...Unfortunately we don't send kids up flues but instead we use traditional brushes and we are marketing it in such a manner. I've been given a few graphics from the previous owner yet he's in his 60's and I have no idea who did these. Does anyone have any time to perhaps spruce them up to modern-day standards? Anyone have any design tips etc as the logo isn't very good at all IMHO. I do like the idea of a little cartoon Sweep though!
tapedeck Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 I quite like the simplicity of that. The traditional text is likeable too. Although I do have a soft spot for the more "recognisable" character. He seems easier to market. If anyone with business nous would like to suggest anything the feedback would be excellent.
tapedeck Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 Big thanks to CalV for his kind assistance. (Behind the scenes). I now have the website up - although I'm currently working on the mobile editions and finalising some page content. http://www.waitesweep.com
