What a whizz of a thread name eh?

 

I'm getting paid on Friday and seeing as next month I'll be starting my new wage package I thought I'd treat myself (Christmas presents? pff!) to something I've wanted for a while - a device to play music at a louder volume than my iPod and/or laptop!

 

I want something that will play Spotify but can also plug in my iPod (doesn't need to dock, it can be through a cable). Would also be nice if I could plug in an external hard drive but not life or death. Even though I've put it in the title radio's not essential, I only really listen to French Radio London and that's mostly while cooking.

 

I think the Squeezebox range do this right? I can (and will) look myself but asking others who have experience/knowledge about what's best/their personal feelings about them.

 

Looking around the £200 mark at most.
