david.dakota Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Hi Spanish people. Hola! Quick question about mobile broadband in Spain in preparation for what will hopefully be a wonder summer holiday! I'm looking to get hold of some sort of network SIM that has a fairly good data allowance on it. Any suggestions?
triforcemario Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 You're in luck, I live in Spain xDDD What's the maximum you're looking into spending per month?
david.dakota Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 I am only there for a week, but ideally around £10/€10 for the week.
Mr_Odwin Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 If it's only a week is there not something available from your current uk network? Like a one off charge to use data for a week?
triforcemario Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 If you're coming only for a week, then it's pretty pointless buying one in Spain. If it's internet you want, you might just as well use Wifi networks, there's enough of them. Just go to a bar and ask "¿Tienes Wifi" (pronounced - tee-in-ace wee-fee?), and if you need to ask for the password, say "¿Cual es la clave del Wifi? (Pronounced - Kual es la cla-be del wee-fee?). If you've got any more questions, don't hesitate in sending me a PM. I've lived here for half my life now, and I'd be happy to advice you on any help you may require! =3
