Happenstance Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Did anyone read the new x-men series launched? There doesnt seem to be enough of a difference to Uncanny for there to be a point to it so far. One of them needs to sort out a proper team for their own book.
Dan_Dare Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 It's actually pretty good. Once I got past the idea that it was X-Men vs Vampires (Because Twilight fans demand it!) It's a pretty decent set up issue. They do need to establish more of an identity for who's going to be in which book, though. Wolverine and Colossus are already a mainstay of Uncanny so seeing them here again doesn't add much. I like that Pixie is in it though, and the adds feature Storm and Nate Grey heavily so we'll see. oh and the art is the best x book art in ages. Even X-Force: sex and violence #1 isn't as good.
Happenstance Posted July 19, 2010 Author Posted July 19, 2010 I didnt think the story was all that bad, its just that as I said it felt too much like Uncanny. Just seemed to become another larger X-Men story and I dont think both books should be doing those.
