James
Hallo Hallo Im trying to create a partition in vista, but can only create one with a maximum of 2gb, is it possible to maximise this some way, i have over 150GB plus on the HDD, or has vista chosen to hog all this space? Thanks
Ten10
You need to reduce the size of your current partition by shrinking the size. Then using the new amount of free space create your second partition.
James
You need to reduce the size of your current partition by shrinking the size. Then using the new amount of free space create your second partition. Thanks, I tried that but it will only let me do it by 2GB max. Thus, the second partition I create is only 2GB. Any other info why it will only let me do it 2gb max?
Aimless
It's due to certain 'immoveable' system files tainting your otherwise free space. This should give you an idea of how to work around that, although I'm afraid it will take something of a time investment.
James
Thanks, I had to recover vista from the begiining again due to a fuck up, so might as well try it.
