trisha Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 sony psp gets 9 pages listing about 127 items for sale ps2 gets 6 pages listing about 135 items for sale xbox360 gets 6 pages listing about 65 items for sale xbox gets 5 pages listing about 104 items for sale nintendo ds gets 6 pages listing about 66 items for sale nintendo micro & advance sp combined get 3 pages listing about 66 items for sale nintendo gamecube gets 3 pages listing about 56 items for sale numbers of items quick counted and subject to items duplicated over pages. but it seems weird the psp has the same as all 3 nintendo handhelds combined unless they expect that to match sales interest. then again, perhaps thats why game plc (who own them) gave a xmas sales warning today to shareholders.
harribo Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 you actually spent time compiling those stats? its nothin new nintendo always has less space e.g. in Game shops your lucky if you have 1 shelf for all of the gamecube stuff.
trisha Posted November 30, 2005 Author Posted November 30, 2005 yeah, i was bored and it only took a few minutes. seems retail expects more psp interest and ds.
MunKy Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Interestingly PSP has almost a whole page for racing games. Looks like the RaceStation Portable name was justified.
