As long as the same, in my opinion, genious people that made any other Zelda games will work on this one (and stick to a large part of the winning formula), it will problably be a good game.

I agree it would be weird to 'have no sword', and if you played the original NES ones or even the SNES one, you'll have a hard time to picture yourself playing without one. But if you also played the classic GB version or the N64 ones, you would have noticed you sometimes played for hours without actually using your sword. Other tools make good weapons too.

The boomerang, slingshot, crossbow, bombs, hookshot, wizzard wand (with book of fire later on), some magic skills, deku-sticks and -nuts, transformed Links (MM, N64) with their own moves, but no sword).....

PS1 I don't know what I mean by this, but I think I'll buy the game later on.

PS2 Gannon / Ganon (looks better when whritten down, who cares anyway) is not great at adventure/rpg games. If you can't find this master sword, you haven't looked for it, mister! Good thing we play with Link!

Of course Link will have a sword during the game. The girl in the released artwork is obviously some sort of embodiment of the Master sword, the details are the same. That doesn't mean he won't use the sword at all throughout the game.
