I don't want to buy something knowing that a better version will come out within a year or two. If I was rich I wouldn't mind so much. This new version doesn't appear to be that revolutionary. I'd like to get a PSP but not sure if it would be this one.

They've also hinted that it will have 16GB of internal storage. Sounds like utter nonsense. PSP2 would be too soon, it would be like announcing a Wii2 right now except it removes the DVD drive and you can only buy games online... lol Unless there is a UMD accessory to upload games. This isnt going to work on any business level. Unupgradeable NAND would be a huge downgrade. Slow and fixed memory will be annoying for hardcore gamers. The only way of justofying these changes would require a huge sea change in the direction of the PSP. The whole rumours sounds like a joke. The games hinted at are already confirmed for e3. Aside from Team ICO. Well thats how rumours go anyway. Might as well add i heard Mario and GT5 are coming to PS3. I am also a credible source. : peace: Its battery life is pretty shoddy without the larger battery in it and its pretty damn bulky and super easy to scratch. I just realised this post is basically jumping all over the place *sigh* Battery life has been fine for ages. They upgraded batteries and lowered power consumption. Talk about an out of date argument.

There are too many rumours to suggest something along these lines isn't true.

They will be limiting thier market and sales massively(90+% likely). Apart from the high tech crowd, like us who like this stuff. But alot of 50+ million PSP owners have not even signed into PSN once. Removing the 'option' of UMD would be SEGA boneheaded. Yes its modern but stupid. Also cost of flash is not that cheap for PSP level games. DS owners dont have to worry because thier game sizes are literally nothing. Not to mention the UMD are fantastic. The biggest rom size on DS is 128MB and that is a huge exception. UMD are 1.5GB. Nothing like it on the market. Hating the UMD is kind of sad imo. I would love to hear what would be better for its replacement? Oh wait there isnt anything! edit: i sound angry. I need a new tv so i can play games again I think its a good idea now. Instead everyone has to disscuss what's wrong with it and compare it the DS as usual. Nevermind.

Not to sound like a prick to the PSP, but really, I see nothing on the PSP that's good, compared to what the DS has. To be honest, the only game on the horizon right now that I will get is Persona remake. And I right now I am playing a PS1 game on the PSP (Which I own a legit copy of at home, so I have the right to play it on the PSP) On other things there is one game which I am interested that's already out....Jeanne D'Arc, anyone play it? If so what's it like?
