david.dakota Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 So, we've established that some restructuring is going on in THQ's Wireless division, and are being led to believe more 'restructuring' will be done in the future. Restructuring is occuring in 99.9% of industries at the moment, its really not news, but common sense. And this is in the Wii Discussion Forum, why? So far absolutely none of this information has any relevance to Wii - or indeed the home console market. With all due respect to the staff, if this had been posted by a forum member, it'd have been moved or locked by now.

To be honest with you, there are some really intelligent people on there and I've a few threads bookmarked on there such as Etrian Odyssey, Shiren the Wanderer, Dragon Quest IV and more. But back to THQ, I don't think we need to turn this into a NeoGAF hate thread, do we?

Well, theres gonna be ripple effects and we don't know how the restructuring will effect the company as a whole. We might well see a thread about Rare in this board because a lot of us still have a soft spot for them, but not about Bungie cos I don't think they've ever made anything for a Nintendo machine...? Some threads blatantly need moving or locking while others can be allowed to breathe and develop, like this one.
Haden Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Happened previously, which is odd as to my knowledge we've never done anything "ban"-worthy. EDIT: Another thing. The result of a NeoGAF IRC conversation has apparently lead to a plan to give Haden a "tag" under his GAF username, since they think it was me who made the thread. According to the ever-trustworthy Zelda_Freak. No tag so far would be hillarious if I got one for this ah well never mind. I wasn't trying to degrade this site by posting that thread btw I had no idea the site was banned and trusted the source was real but I mean mistakes are made and that is that. To make this story full circle neogaf has things that we have banned. Eg dabookerman :p Another reason that I will be hanging around the Wii boards here more for my news fix haha.
