Davey_T Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Went in to try and boot from it but there wasnt an option. I have a dvd drive and a separate cd drive and i can boot from the cd drive but not the dvd drive. The dvd drive works perfectly in windows. Any help? Cheers
Shorty Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Update your BIOS might help? Just grasping though really...
RoadKill Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Try disconnecting the CD drive and see if it comes up, it could be some kind of cock-in-ass BIOS restriction, there may be a sub list of drives to boot from (some BIOSs for example have HDD BOOT as one option in the boot order, and then a seperate option to change the HDD BOOT order).
