Tales Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 I'm trying to use the new adapter I bought today, but I have trouble to get it to start. Here's what the manual says: To open the GN-WB01GS Utility, either double click the quick start icon located in your system tray, or from the Windows Start menu, select Programs, Gigabyte Wireless Network Adapters, GN-WB01GS and then GN-WB01GS Utility. Note: You may only use the utility to change wireless configurations when the GN-WB01GS Adapter is enabled and operating. You have to use Windows native Zero Configuration tool provided with Windows when the Adapter is not enabled I need to find this Zero Configuration tool it's talking about. Shorty Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Zero Configuration is just what Windows automatically uses when something else is not set up to control wireless. If the software that came with your adapter is working fine then you do not need windows' native wireless tool, just open the software that came with your adapter.
