I spilt a drink onto my mums laptop and now a few of the keys arent working think its NBW and the down key. This was a while ago and they didn't dry out and work again sadly. I have found a replacement keyboard I need on ebay which is pretty pricey also I found someone selling indivdual keys. Do I need to buy the whole keyboard again? Shorty Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 if you spill liquid on a keyboard and buttons start doing strange things, it's usually a case of the circuit being messed up, so yeah you will need to buy a whole keyboard again. a computer repair shop could probably help you out, or your manufacturer might sell spares? Dell is good for that kind of thing. if you never move your laptop (ie it's always sitting on your desk) a cheap usb keyboard would be ok? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
