Dyson
Right, I have 2 HD's. One is my C drive that contains my OS and other utility programs, the other is my M drive, which is my content drive, contains my music, pictures but most importantly to this question, installed games. I am hoping to format my C drive and reinstall my OS and such, but what I want to know is whether or not this will affect the installed programs on my M drive, namely my games. Will these need reinstalling or will they still run? Any answers on this would be great

I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I wouldn't take a chance on it tbh.

Experience with returning my computer to factory settings, has created this situation, and I think it's pretty similar, if not the same, to what you want to do. It's a pain in the butt as LOADS of updates await you. Forget using your computer for that day ¬_¬

I hate reformatting, I always get handy wee apps or programs, or settings just the way I want them. And that's not without having to install all of the drivers (if you haven't lost the CD like I usually dooo)

Tis why I dont get too much stuff for firefox like I used to. I know that a format/reset to factory settings is always round the corner ¬_¬
