flameboy Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Was really impressed with how you can send videos straight to youtube.... But after doing that I went to browse other videos using my phone and found that I couldn't as they were far too blocky and jumpy...is this a problem of the phone in general owing to the restrictions of the 3G network or is the browser? (I have seen you can download opera for it as an app...)
McPhee Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 It's the browser AFAIK, no speed probs with Youtube over 3G
flameboy Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 It's the browser AFAIK, no speed probs with Youtube over 3G so will the opera browser I have seen for download help at all...
McPhee Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 probably not, it's more likely that the phone can't handle the browser and the flash youtube videos are the same time worth a shot though?
flameboy Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 yeah will give it a go when i pick up a memory card on friday...just seems crazy that a phone that supports uploading to youtube doesn't allow you to view videos off youtube...
Shorty Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I think you can get a YouTube application that will solve the problem of the browser memory issue. I'd try it out (I have a viewty) to compare but I don't have a data plan and videos can be quite a large size.
