Sound is really laggy and its taking absolutely ages to load anything or boot up now; combined with the SMART fault that's been ongoing - I'm guessing its safe to safe the HDD is on its way out! How much do laptop HDDs cost to replace at a repair place on average or labour? Or would it be better for me to buy some of dabs (or similar) and fit it myself. Laptop is an Acer Travelmate 4400 btw.
