Is it my motherboard?

Need a second opinion. My file server seems to be having some issues. Hard drives will not appear in my computer or disk manager at all, restarting will sometimes fix it and on other times some other hard disks will dissapear. There's definitely no overheating going on as all the components are low voltage and the hard drives all run somewhere between 15-25C. When booting, I forget what happens exactly but I do remember that it makes a fairly long series of rapid beeps and clicks and a few longer beeps on their own. The motherboard is a Gigabyte P35-DS3R something or other.

It's actually quite likely. I have a Gigabyte GA-eX38-DS5 and got quite a few harddrives. Exactly half the time when I turn my Computer on with the external HDD already running it will hang up upon starting.

So what I'm trying to say is that I also have harddrive issues because of the MoBo and it could be the same with yours.
