CoolFunkMan Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I have a Creative Zen 16gb MP3 player, which I've only had for about 2-3 months. I was just watching a video on it, used the fast-forward function, and the screen went blank. There's no sound coming out of the headphones, and the blue power light is on, but it won't switch off. Connecting it to my PC does nothing either, I've even tried Creative's MP3 player recovery tool. The only thing I can think of now is to wait till the battery dies, and then recharge it. However, I don't know how long that'd take, and it'd be bad for the MP3 player. Can anyone suggest anything to resolve this? Thanks in advance if anyone can help...
Pyxis Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Does it have a little reset button somewhere? Good luck on getting it working again.
mcj metroid Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 my creative zen has a hole where you stick something sharp into.. its avery small hole though try and find it.. it resets it if it's there.
CoolFunkMan Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 The reset button worked, when I eventually found something small enough to fit in the hole, lol. Thanks for that. ^^
