stuwii Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Why on earth can't they just port it over from PS2? Do you have any other titles which should be lazily ported over?
c0Zm1c Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 More lazy ports is the last thing the Wii needs! But Test Drive would be nice on Wii I suppose, provided it was more than just a lazy port of the PS2 version. I wouldn't buy it though, I already have the PC version.
darkjak Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Yeah. I'd love to see the lights of Black and Ace Combat on the Wii, as well as Test Drive. Maybe Project Gotham 2, or an updated version of Metropolis Street Racer.
c0Zm1c Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I'm sure Microsoft have retained the rights to the Project Gotham Racing series, but a Metropolis Street Racer Wii game would be possible I think.
flameboy Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I'm sure Microsoft have retained the rights to the Project Gotham Racing series, but a Metropolis Street Racer Wii game would be possible I think. yeah that is the case...Microsoft kept the PGR franchise.
Ten10 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I just really want the wii to be able to break away from the ps2 port capability. With multiformat games the wii version is always built around a ps2capable build, which is limiting what the wii can do. And then developers go an have a cry and pee themselves complaining that their games don't sell on a nintendo console, but decent looking nintendo games do.
Guest Jordan Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 MS still own PGR... however Metropolis Street Racer (basically PGR1 with worse car models) is still owned by Bizarre.
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 They could port over the first PC version and it would still be fun.
