Retro_Link
http://uk.gear.ign.com/articles/835/835646p1.html Camy Pro Gear Hero Pack Review Master Sword and Hylian Shield Wiimote bracket finally reach offical release. Final score and distribution info within. US, November 15, 2007 - The Wiimote has proved itself a rather adaptable controller, not exactly in terms of its capabilities, which have remained constant, but rather in the number of plastic brackets into which it can be fit for different play experiences. Most peeps are, no doubt, already familiar with attachments like Nintendo's Zapper, Core Gamer's Blaster, and the various steering wheel attachments already on the market. There are also a number of pretty questionable Wiimote accessories on the market, like PEGA's Airplane Bracket and the various collections of golf, tennis, and baseball controller attachments that, at best, don't add anything to the experience, and at worst orient the Wiimote in an entirely unusable position. Amid the clutter we think we've got our hands on what may well be the coolest Wiimote accessory yet. Camy Pro Gear's brand new Hero Pack for the Wii was designed to let hardcore Nintendo fans live the dream of battling though Twilight Princess with an actual Master Sword and Hylian Shield in hand. Though somewhat miniaturized, Camy's Hero Pack emulates the iconic design of Link's weapons as closely as legally possible for a rather cool overall effect. The Wiimote seats firmly in the Master Sword's handle. A forward cutout, coupled with the fact that the sword's foam blade is mounted below center, allows for full IR functionality for aiming the Boomerang and Hook Shot in game. The actual blade is stiff foam that isn't floppy or annoying, yet is soft enough to ensure no one will lose an eye. The Nunchuck fits in the handle on the backside of the shield, and like the Wiimote, has none of its functionality cramped by the add-on. Though it's true the Hero Pack does nothing to actually expand the Wiimote's capabilities, we're big enough Zelda fans to appreciate the degree of added fun that comes from waggling a miniature Master Sword instead of just the sterile Wiimote. Camy Pro Gear has now finalized international pricing and distribution. Retail pricing is set at $24.99. GameCrazy will be the primary retail outlet in the US, VideoGameAdvantage will do online sales, and in Canada the Hero Pack will have a presence in EB Games retail outlets. In France you can find it at ABC Games, in Australia at Game Wizards, and at Game Stores Group in Sweden. IGN Score Performance - 9 Build Quality - 8 Ease Of Use - 10 Value - 7 Confort - 7.5 Overall - 8.5 Video: http://uk.gear.ign.com/articles/835/835646p1.html Pretty pointless, but entertaining nonetheless! Patch
Last week, I read about a girl who had 4 arms and 4 legs who underwent surgery to have the extra limbs removed. And I thought to myself: now I've seen it all. I was wrong. The nunchuk looks a little uncomfortable to hold and I know I would keep the remote in the sword to play Wii Tennis.
