gmac Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 anyone got one of these? I'm thinking of getting one since I don't have sky+ or V+ and the Topfield TF5800 seems to be the best (but a bit pricey as well)
KKOB Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I'm gunna be using my macbook pro and eyeTV to record stuff next year at uni-i think thats what your on about? things that record to a hard drive? lol i am sooooo dumb.
Guest Jordan Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I have a V+ (although its an original TV Drive). Its super freaking handy for recording and just pausing if you need to do something.
theguyfromspark Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 I've got a TF5800 and it's the best thing in the world once you load a few bits of software on it.
Bluejay Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 I have a digifusion one. Greatest thing ever. Although now I have such a huge backlog of recorded films. Buy eet.
theguyfromspark Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Which did you get, if you got a topfield, let me know when it arrives and I'll tell you what software to put on to make it the best thing ever.
gmac Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 yeah got a Topfield today, I know about http://www.toppy.org.uk what TAPS do you recommed?
theguyfromspark Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 just MyStuff and it's associated TAPS that come in the zip file. Follow the instructions and it's easy. MyStuff turns an OK PVR into the best you can get
