I do know that apparantly the Dolby the PS2 outputs, is apparantly not true surround...I don't really know what I'm talking about. But I will definitly have a good look at Wiki. EDIT - And Marcel if the only difference is that the back is either mono, or stereo, then the chances are thats the only additional depth. You will hear no improvement from the bass.
