Konfucius Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 PC publisher JoWood has announced it is to expand its reach into the next-generation console market. The publisher plans a number of titles for the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 for the latter part of 2008 and into 2009. The Austrian company has a range of successful brands in its portfolio including Painkiller, SpellForce, Gothic and Dungeon Lords, and is currently in negotiations with a number of development studios. Source: gamesindustry.biz JoWood has some very good titles but also quite a few pretty bad ones and apart from Aquanox 2 he didn't release any (good) console titles. Still it's a good sign that JoWood wants to support consoles as well - although the main reason could be financial issues because JoWood is short on cash to be blunt. But this can only mean games for Wii, because they are cheaper to develope.: peace: : peace:
triforcemario Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Oh dear, let's hope Gothic stays well away from the Wii (I recently played Gothic 2, and it was awful).
antster1983 Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Neighbours From Hell or Kao the Kangaroo anyone?
pedrocasilva Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Neighbours From Hell or Kao the Kangaroo anyone? I have Kao the Kangaroo! *hides in shame* It came with the Dreamcast I bought, It really did. (never played it and will probably be going to the trash bin or something)
Tyson Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Kao was awesome, simply because it's got a kangaroo.
SimonM7 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 JoWood published or made or whatever a game called.......something.. that was pretty decent. Uhm... Cha... caaa... cooo..... chooo.... CHASER! Chaser's it. FPS, rather generic but pretty good weapons and a badly acted though reasonably good story. And no, I dunno why I'm even bothering with typing this either.
