Cube Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I'm currently looking at new TVs, and how found a Samsung 19" LCD which looks quite nice. Looking at the imputs it has: R/F, Scart, S-Video, DVI and PC D-sub IIRC, both DVI and PC D-sub can carry EDTV/HDTV signals (the TV has a pixel resolution of 1440 x 900). What would be the best and/or cheapest way to connect the Wii to the TV for 480p? Thanks in advance.
Guest Jordan Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 DVI is esentially HDMI without sound input... they're completely different to component as it is an analouge input. I doubt this is possible.
Colin Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 So, would S-Video be the best option, then? If you're using a PAL console, then no, as it doesn't support it. And if that Scart input supports RGB then that's already better than the S-Video anyway.

Edit: Nevermind. I got a different TV, which has component.
