Shorty Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Hey guys, I know threads asking for your recommendations are made every five minutes but I never like to make a purchase without running it by similarly minded people. I've run out of disk space on both my HDDs and I'm looking to buy a new one. I haven't completely weighed up the benefits of internal vs. external, but I'm thinking about the overheating of having a third HDD inside my PC, and the fact that I can use an external to take things back home from Uni. With that in mind I've seen this 320GB External Seagate HDD. Originally I was looking at Western Digital's "Book" style HDDs on amazon but then I read a bunch of bad reviews about loss of data and overheating. What do you guys think about this seagate model? It's a decent price I think, including VAT. Does anyone know a better place to look, or have an opinion on better models or brands? Cheers guys, I'm terrible at spending money, I'll procrastinate for months then end up buying nothing. But I'm down to a couple GB free space on each drive now >.<
thirtynine. Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Thats a good price, and three internal hdd's in one pc may be a bit much i say go for it.
