EEVILMURRAY Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I'm trying to print some uni shit and it's going fine, and the thing which drags it in is a bit sluggish, so I open it up to see if there's anything jammed, nothing. So I close it and try printing, it keeps telling me to close the, it refers to it as the scanner door [thingy, it's underneath the scanner] but it's clearly closed and now the thing won't turn off. I have to take out the plug.
highland man Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 make sure you have downloaded all of the latest drivers for your printer, they will be available on the printer manufacturers website. hope that helps
Guest Offerman Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Sounds like the Microswitch on the printer is sticky. Either that or it really is a software fault - which seems abit unlikely. Check you have the latest drivers, if that fails its almost likely a warrenty job. It really sounds like a physical problem with the printer, then anything software related.
